Man, I really want to do origami again but in India sadly we don't have good quality origami paper and even if there is, it is imported and comes with a very high delivery cost. Sorry to rant by the way, I just want to make good looking models now that I've practiced for 4 years and notebook paper is all that I have which is not the prettiest thing in the world for displaying. Oh well, it is what it is, beautiful model as always Jo and I have never heard of Jiahui Li before. Looks like I got to check his designs out as well. Thanks for the content as always, appreciate it bro!
ay, here in indonesia theres no good quality origami as well but i make use of it edit: what i meant by bad origami is most origamis dont vary in color or is made out of plastic and it makes the folding process 10x hardwr
I'm from India, and I've also run into the issue of finding good origami paper. Besides the imported papers, there's a lot of other paper that's easily available that works really well for origami. Personally, I'd recommend trying Baking Paper and Tracing Paper. They're quite strong, while being very thin, sometimes thinner than specialised origami paper. Its amazing what artists like Shuki Kato managed to fold and design without any specialised paper, just tracing paper There are downsides, they're a lot harder to work with as folds don't reverse as easily, but I've used them to test fold a lot of models like Satoshi Kamiya's Pegasus and they're quite good
@@Sebastian.Xavier yup I'm from India too sebastian, and yeah tracing paper does work but at this point I was in need of something that could look nice for displaying my models. I know you can use it to practice and stuff but I'm past that point. Anyways, thanks for the suggestion though, appreciate it.
Same problem here in Indonesia. Even couldn't find imported paper. I asked my friend to buy some from Singapore, and sometimes bought from origamishop France. And of course, it cost a lottttt😅. That's why I don't fold too often ( or perhaps I was just lazy😊)
I love your origami so much jo nakashima. You have been here since you used copy paper when to do origami since 2007 and you are still uploading today for 16 years.
Hey, Jo! Absolutely love your work, I make a different origami for my girlfriend everytime we meet, since we live in different cities. I'd like to suggest using lighter colored papers, since some folds are just next to impossible to see on the black one. The one at 20:47, for example. was absolute pain because I couldn't see anything on the video. Thanks!
I wish you would do the folding for this one in a lighter color paper even if the end example is black. It's very hard to see what some of the folds are with the black paper. Or maybe crank up the brightness somehow.
Unbelievable! The author demonstrates real talent in origami, turning a simple sheet of paper into real masterpieces! Each movement is precise and accurate, and the result is impressive with its beauty and detail. It is clear that behind this is a huge experience and love for art. This video is not only educational, but also inspiring to create something of your own! Thanks for such great content🌞🌞🌞🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Damn, the step at 20:25 was absolute pain. Had to watch the video like 20 times and retrace the last 5 steps when I got stuck. x.x Also, the 3d wings are interesting. I have rarely seen something like that before, apart from some pufferfish-creations.
You make prettiest origami 8n the world please make your own origami book which will available to all in the world in which there will be all your created origami creation in easiest way.
Origami is a great brain exercise that everyone can try. This art was made famous by the great master Akira Yoshizawa; But now this art is rapidly approaching the classrooms and is recognized as an art that has many practical applications. Origami is reviving and strengthening, so it deserves a lot of attention from all of us❤❤❤❤
