Palutena was letting Pit and Dark Pit fly away and she would protect them by using the reflect but it wasn’t strong enough so when she died, Pit and Dark Pit became weaker and lost their powers. Sonic slowed down and reached his hand to Pikachu so that Pikachu could grab hold..obviously they both died but Sonic wouldn’t have made it anyway since he is only faster then the speed of sound in his normal form. In Super, Dark Super or Hyper, then he is faster then the speed of light. I guess Mewtwo should have done the move confusion to send the light back. Oh and also, for anyone saying that Wii Fit Trainer was just doing yoga, she was actually trying to stay in a yoga pose that gave her invincibility for three seconds and Duck Hunt Duo we’re trying to fly away.

I busted out laughing at the world of light trailer. The world is ending, and Snake hides in a box and gets immediately incinerated. EDIT: Holy shit, 400 likes? That's the most I've ever had! (how tho)
Apparently, Snake being in the box makes him feel more at peace. I read somewhere that it was basically him calming himself down one last time before his impending doom.
When you think about it, he did the thing with the best chance of success. Taking cover doesn't work, as we see the inklings get taken out despite being inside the ground? Invincibility shields don't work (Zelda using Nayru's Love, Palutena's shield), and he can't outrun the beams of light. He took a chance that possibly whatever entity is controlling the light beams didn't see where he went and maybe would have avoided the box thinking it wasn't important. We see his gambit failed of course, but there wasn't much he could do.
