LOL! You're so funny when reviewing things "cold." Now I'll watch the live chat with PhillyCM; kicking myself for missing the live chat. Now all I want to do is burn my fall candles (all B&BW) but want to wait for later Sept. or Oct., & cooler weather.
I wish I’d never heard about that band aid note. I didn’t realize what it reminded me of before I saw others saying that. I have to keep myself from thinking about that or else it ruins it for me. Sometimes not overthinking things lets you enjoy them more. Lol. Thanks for the reviews. Good to see you doing reviews again.
I have the Witches Cauldron country candle from last year, a perfect Halloween atmosphere. This year I got 7 Days and It's Alive, looking forward to that experience. Always love your take on candles, Doug.
I think a few years ago I got It's Alive and it was similar to a scent like BBW winter, but I heard it was reformulated after that. I hope those are nice candles!
You should have grabbed Cemetery Lane and you really missed out on last years Dungeon. That one was legit. I enjoyed watching your live with Brett. It definitely livened up my evening while cooking.
I'm like you Doug, I keep my burns seasonal so it stays special. With that said, when do you typically start burning your Halloween scents? Do you jump in head first after a certain date and burn them daily? Spread them out with some more traditional fall scents earlier on?
These days I'll burn Fall or Halloween on a given day just depending on how I'm feeling. I REALLY like burning my Halloween stuff on gloomy days! I don't really do transitional type of stuff anymore. It's pretty much burning nothing and then bam, full on fall! I also like doing some holiday scents as well, but that is strictly after Halloween.
My sleepy Hollow from 2 years ago is a caramel heavy.. I’m wondering if they tweaked the notes. Scarecrow is just eh to me. I passed on Witching Hour again this year since I still have four Witches Cauldron candles and saw some reviews that it wasn’t a strong thrower.
It sounds like Kringle continually tweaks these Halloween candles so I would guess there is a great chance that yours does indeed smell different! I've not burned my new WC yet and will start once the weather gets cold. My 2019 country jar of it is quite strong through!
I think in the New England area they may be available in some stores (I know you can buy them from their HQ in Massachusetts), but for the most part they seem to be online only!
Witches cauldron gives me pus filled band aid. I'm sure that those that love it aren't getting what im getting from it. I think 2019 was when I last ordered from kringle halloween. I really liked graveyard night & candy corn. Two of the candles I ordered- haunted house & black cat smelled like cleaning chemicals. Others were just not halloween at all. I've burned through some of my stash but I still have plenty of halloween candles to burn before I need to buy more.
I really miss hearing you talk about candles. I love both your village and candle videos. You should consider getting Blood Moon.
I like dropping in now and then and chatting candles, it's really fun!
Very cool to see you review some candles again, thanks for your time Doug! 🎃
Thanks for stopping by and watching!

Yeah I know that A LOT of people get the bandaid note and I'm thankful it doesn't do that for me!
Went out bought fall forest from Bath and Body works after your live stream with Phillycandleman. Smell is really nice. Happy you mentioned it
glad I had it just off camera! It's a very nice scent

Thanks for watching! Next year I plan to get a bunch of the ones I missed!
I agree!! I think I like dungeon as much or better than witch's cauldron. So glad I got a couple of them.

The strangest smelling candle that I have in my collection is Dungeon by Kringle.
That’s my favorite one from them!! 😂 I think Doug would have loved that one.
I plan to try Dungeon next year!
Dang, Witches Cauldron is already sold out!
Yeah I feel like it's usually the first to sell out
@@SpookyVillages Any idea when the Kringle Halloween stuff comes out? I don't want to miss out like I did last year.
Are these Kringle Candles for sale online only? Or can they be found in select stores somewhere?

@@SpookyVillages Okay, thanks! I’m in Illinois.
Yeah I think it's on-line only for you then. I'm in Missouri and I've never seen them in a local shop before@@mrs_vanessa_dominguez

Ha, pus filled bandaid sounds gross! I'm thankful I don't get bandaid from it!
