I took a day trip from Miami to Orlando on Brightline last month. I rode Smart going and Premium coming back. The northbound train didn't have that awful mesh on the windows but the southbound did. On the southbound trip, the train in front of us had a "strike", that's how they put it. Obviously some idiot drove in front of the train. We crept until we got to the crash site and picked up the passengers from the train that crashed. They made everybody pull the blinds down so any kids couldn't see anything. I'm sure any kids would have said "I WANNA SEE THE CRASH!" We got to Miami 1:06 late. Hard to say whether it's better than the Acela. The grade crossings and the fact that it's not electric doesn't make it a real high speed train.

I took this train from Miami to Orlando after a cruise (for some reason, despite flying in nonstop on Southwest to FLL, there were no nonstop return flights from FLL or MIA; very odd). It was such a smooth ride, super relaxing! I decided to splurge for premium so I could have a seat to myself.
Sadly the day I was on the train was the same day that another train hit the fire truck. I think it was the train that left the hour after the one I was on.

Why do they have wide picture windows then obscure the view with dots? Another articulate well done video. Keep it up!

    Oh no, not the dots!
