Vail Mountain - SECRET Local Stash of Powder

- Today after 15yrs of leaving Vail, CO and after being a resident of 4yrs I share one of my many favorite local runs and secret stashes to find some sweet buttery pow pow days, and sometime weeks, after a good storm has rolled through!
First half of the video I talking about how to get to WFO and things to keep in mind, the second half is the full 11min ride from top to bottom!

Vail looks amazing. Wish that I could be there right now. Really need to flee my country when covid is over and start skiing/snowboarding again because damn, I miss the sport to much
Yup I can't believe it's been 15 years since I moved away and it seems like yesterday. I still have vivid dreams and I'm always trying to move back somehow lol maybe this winter I'll be able to get part of a season and if I play my cards right!
Good video but WFO isn't a secret run anymore and is now a named trail with a gate etc (as seen in your video). Additionally, I wouldn't duck ropes on an "informational" or "instructional" video as matter of proper etiquette. I woulda gone a little more skiers right to avoid the boundary rope but too far skiers right ends up cutting out a bunch of skiing vertical and puts you on the bat track from Chair 9 a bit early.
it was link that when i left in 2006.... but still most "general" people wouldnt typically explore it since its so remote and at the end of a long azz catwalk ;)

Went to Boulder high school in the 80s back when passes were $150....just about flunked my junior year because of vail...lol
lift tickets are $280 now

Vail sucks. Don’t go. As soon as you get speed they have signs and barricades slowing you down. And the terrain park sucks. They are liability scared and it shows
