Originally, this video was going to be a compilation of all my Muppet reviews followed by the final ranking but for whatever reason, it’s been an absolute nightmare to get it all to comply with content policies even after dozens of edits and reuploads. So here is that ranking portion by itself. Next year no more Muppets for my own sanity, but also one last Muppet vid will be out tomorrow- YOU BEEN WARNED
Just wanna say, your videos always bring a smile to my face regardless of the topic, you genuinely have a talent to make it everything you talk about in a super engaging and fun way. So getting two videos back to back right before Christmas really feels like a special gift, thank you for all the good times and I hope your holidays are happy and your Christmas really merry!
If I had a nickel for everytime two creators I love dearly posted a Muppets ranking within days of each other, I would have 1 nickel, which is totally normal and not weird at all.
Yeah I literally just got *back* into Muppets these past few weeks, and I am feeling sufficiently fed lol I'm like dang, what's going on here? And here's what I think it is: 1. It's might be a Christmas Carol season which everybody loves 2. The news about Muppet Vision 3D and the rock and roller coaster re-theme.
We really need them to debate muppet movies with each other! Maybe even collaborate for a review on the Muppet show or shows (each tv series of the muppets throughout the years)
YungJunko is constantly torn between his two loves, the PSP, and the muppets. He knows that someday there can only be one but for now he cherishes them both.
Honestly I've had a lot of respect for Muppets Take Manhattan even though it's among my least favorites cuz indeed Frank Oz's more grounded take on the Muppets really paved the way for relatively serious Muppet projects like Muppet Christmas Carol and The Muppets Mockumentary Series, treating the cast and world like how we treat the Muppets, as real people, real actors given real direction.
I didn't like Most Wanted that much on my first watch, but when i re watched it this year, i loved it. Hearing the late great Ray Liotta say, "But we like Boyz 2 Men!" just made my whole year.
Treasure Island and Muppets from Space were my absolute favorites but that's mostly because I never watched the others. Muppets 2011, though, has some of the funniest gags ever! I still love the part where the chick is looking out the window and there's water hitting it only for the camera to keep zooming out and it's just a gardener hitting it with a hose with a placid look on his face.
You said there's no general consensus on these movies but in the Muppet fandom it's definitely The Muppet Movie first, Space last of the theatrical ones, and the TV movies below that. Christmas Carol is also generally ranked pretty high. But year the rest are all over the map on general consensus.
I loved Muppets Most Wanted way more than Muppets 2011, and I'm really surprised that that's like not in the common opinion lol The music in most wanted is so catchy (Bret McKenzie!!) and the interactions with the human characters hilarious. The only thing I wasn't into was Ricky Gervais. He was a really phoning it in. The original Muppet movie takes home the gold. God damn I cry at every rewatch, especially at the end.
You ranked these almost all of these the same as Schaffrillas (except you put The Muppets and Muppet Christmas Carol one spot ahead of where they were).
I agree that Muppets from Space is over-hated, I like it a lot, but it's not above Treasure Island. I think The Great Muppet Caper is way overrated though. Muppets Take Manhattan is better than The Great Muppet Caper and did better with its setting. Muppets Treasure Island is also better than Caper. Muppets From Space was better than Caper too. Caper I would honestly only put one place above Wizard of Oz. Too much fourth wall humour, doesn't make good use of the setting, feels clumsily written, not really funny or entertaining for me.

What a Christmas gift
Problem: I live for these Muppet videos.
Wack that they don't let it be uploaded as a comp. I've seen videos doing it almost shamelessly

Dread it run from it It's a Very Merry Muppet Christmas Movie arrives all the same

I thought I was the only one that would have pointed out the Schaffrillas ranking video came out like last week
I watched the Schaffrillas Muppet video and then there were suddenly a couple of other videos also ranking the Muppet movies on the weekend after
@@thatonea-hole So did I

Suck it Schaffrilas, I'm going to Junkoland!
We really need them to debate muppet movies with each other!

Been on a huge Muppet kick as of late so having these ranking vids on the films has made getting my Muppet related fix at work much easier
Junko: I’m about to drop a hot take…
Everyone: We’re waiting…
You can run, but you could never hide from It's a Very Merry Muppet Christmas Movie
There's 12 days of Christmas 🎄 after all!
YungJunko is officially a Muppets channel now 💚
I need a video that connects all the muppet films in a concise timeline
“ I am inevitable”
- Constantine
@@BugsyFoga
" And..I...am.....Kermit!"
- Kermit the frog 🐸
Give Letters to Santa a shot. It's a pretty cozy and fun special.
Junko just in time with an Xmas present! Thx dude!
Merry Xmas, my dude!
@@thatonea-hole merry Xmas!
Junko we love u
I was agreeing with the list until the Muppet Treasure Island placement. You did it dirty, lol.
The Muppets Cinematic Universe is the only MCU I'll recognize.
Good, happy holidays everyone!
YungJunko is constantly torn between his two loves, the PSP, and the muppets. He knows that someday there can only be one but for now he cherishes them both.
I was really looking forward to *this* ranking.
A new Junko video!? Best Christmas gift ever!
Merry Christmas and a Happy New year YungJunko
Damn this is the best notification to get while I'm sick ever :7)
Thank you, was hoping you’d make this
Where's both It's A Very Merry Muppet Movie and Muppet Classic Theatre?
I didn't like Most Wanted that much on my first watch, but when i re watched it this year, i loved it. Hearing the late great Ray Liotta say, "But we like Boyz 2 Men!" just made my whole year.
im fine with the list but i would flip space and treasure
Treasure Island and Muppets from Space were my absolute favorites but that's mostly because I never watched the others. Muppets 2011, though, has some of the funniest gags ever! The second this popped up I clicked it. I love the Muppets
*WHO DOESN'T?!*
(except Disney currently)
Somehow yungjunko return
Finally some good flipping content

Christmas Carol’s perfect
Will you ever watch Muppets Christmas: Letters to Santa?
Maybe he'll do it for Christmas 🎄 along with a very muppet christmas, possibly
Schafrillas is quaking in his shiny boots rn
Sorry for calling Muppets from Space the worst, though I still think the coincidences I mentioned are still crazy.
I loved Muppets Most Wanted way more than Muppets 2011, and I'm really surprised that that's like not in the common opinion lol The music in most wanted is so catchy (Bret McKenzie!!) and the interactions with the human characters hilarious. You and @schafarillas did this in a week wow
They need to collab!
Would love to see them, do something muppet related or even debate about DreamWorks movies
I remember watching Kermits Swamp Years(when I was a kid) I loved it tbh
You ranked these almost all of these the same as Schaffrillas (except you put The Muppets and Muppet Christmas Carol one spot ahead of where they were).
Hope someday you rank every Muppets TV show, from The Muppet Show to The Muppets Mayhem.
Junko should watch The Happytime Murders. It is directed by Brian Henson who directed Muppets Christmas Carol lol
Ranking From Space and the Ricky Gervais one (derogatory) above Treasure Island I think is illegal in certain territories.
Muppets most wanted
Is fantastic, truly fantastic
Also you forgot haunted mansion
Yeah, I agree😊
You NEED TO REVUEW MUPETS 3d VISION
this one better have Muppet Frog Prince (1971) in it :-P
YES

It’s funny how you reviewed every Muppet movie for a few months but Schaffrillas beat you to it anyway!
It's not a race.
I didn't say it was. It was just a funny coincidence
@@AJ-xc4qeI wouldn't know.
I stopped watching his channel months ago.
Yahahoo!

Nice. Now do Marvel ranking next
only non Mcu ones though
