I am a South Indian woman (Tirunelveli black colour) having long hair with oil always, but I got job in US and am working in USA now. I am happy with my long hair, not going to any parlour to maintain this. I am more comfortable with this.. I can adjust my time to take care of myself. No one will ask you why do you have such a long hair. I have seen many black people with curly hair and taking more than 2 hrs to tie their hair.. so I am thanking God that I have straight hair. Everything up to our individual/self satisfaction. One point I want to mention that the inferiority complex leads many to do make over and they forget their comfortability.
