For the first time in my life... I actually agree with the majority of what the pundits said. Those defensive errors never needed to happen. It's basic man-marking. We need to work that nonsense out.
Its on the coaching... discipline.... not subbing off your Captain and most creative player for scott mctominay..... that was the final nail in the coffin.

What is Franc talking about?? Maguire allowed the ball to pass by him twice in the six yard box before the first goal was scored. That is unforgivable and very poor defending. The first time the ball passed Maguire he refused to play it with his left leg. Remember this guy cost £80m and refuses to defend with his left leg. The second time it passes him he is not marking anyone and leaves the scorer in behind him. How can Franc say Maguire had a good game when he conceded the first goal. Maguire is error prone and lacks commitment. He was well beaten to the header in the community shield to level the match. ETH is responsible for keeping Maguire and selecting him to play. With Liverpool next week it's not looking good

The fun thing is the owners have already committed to Ten Hag. The signings made were done with ETH in mind. Even if a competent manager is appointed in near future, some of the signings will be labelled useless. I guess that's why Nistelrooj was appointed as assistant manager, he's well respected and has prior experience as head coach. He'll take over once things go wrong.

Dalot was responsible for the 1st goal, allowing Joao pedro cross the ball...Maguire was wrong footed so couldnt stop mitoma from crossing the ball..Licha was ball watching while welbeck tapped in..
Yeah, he was the only one there and he was defending the ball in as well as the man at the back post. Dalot definitely did his job and no one can criticise Martinez as he was on holiday at the time.

I'll say this for the 2nd time this season. The worst thing Manchester United could've ever done is to keep deluded ETH and extend the whiner Bruno contract. The team will suffer greatly. There's no moving forward with those two at the club.
True. Also, Luke Shaw, Mctominay, Rashford, Maguire etc are the looming presence of the old management and their blunders. They have to be gotten rid of too. And as good as they can be, Lisandro, Casemiro, Eriksen have to be sold while their stocks are high. They're inconsistent. I like the young players like Mainoo, Diallo, Garnacho etc. They came through the academy. Carrington is United's best bet. Always has been. Just add some upcoming world class players to it instead of the usual average slop.

First time for some time I see the pannel seems to have seen what I saw. We did not deserve to lose as we played well. But the mistakes cost us as they should. We were not able to do much in the attacking 3rd, and I want to say Erik should be picking different players to start. Rashford should be benched and maybe don't start Mount. It was crazy to see him take off Bruno and bring on McTomminay. Next weekend we have Liverpool. Of course we don't know what will happen. But if we lose at home to Liverpool, it will not be a good sign for the season to come. I was hoping we would get at least a scored draw today, if not a win and take that back to Old Trafford and be ready with confidence to play them. I hope we see a few changes in who starts and how we try to attack. Come on United.
