How were you able to keep being a major power until the pan-nationalism gets research? I keep falling to minor power as all the prestige buffs wear off by then and at earliest I managed to get that status back in 1880, but by that time Chile and Peru decided they don't want to be a part of that federation.
Probably economic buildup and having a huge army. Having a navy would’ve made things easier. Whenever I do a Federation of the Andes run as Argentina, my first step is to massively increase the size of my navy, so I can have the prestige and conquest opportunities I need to become a major power.
I would assume they don't support you as a unification candidate. If this is the case that means they don't like you enough and you need to find a way to increase their opinion of you.
So I have tried it a couple more times, and I still can't get them to support me. I have defensive pact with them, have them in my customs union, they are genial (+225) towards me, and our relations are at friendly (+80). It just keeps saying I do not exert any control over them. Any ideas? 😂
@@TobyYellsAtThingsBy the way, it isn't because I owe them an obligation. Only thing I can think of is Chile and Bolivia rival each other, so they don't wanna become the same country? It's just a wild guess but if that's really the case, I don't know what I can do to fix it 😂
If you form a new country, your primary culture list will change to the default of the new country. You could try to form the country as Paraguay, but you won’t have Guarani or Platinean as a primary culture. If you have a mod, you can keep both.
How come you go from rank 20 to rank 11 ? When I form the great Colombia I don't advance a single rank and so I don't become a candidate for unification
My game glitched. I started as Bolivia and control all of South America as either my territory or as puppets. And I do not have the option to make it and now I gotta make a new game
I dominated the whole continent in 20 years focusing on gold states, thought you had only one step to integrate subject. Tbh nation forming is lacking depth and meaning except Germany and Italy.
Sorry but how the fuck did you not get bankrupted within the first 5 years? If I do everything like you’re saying I am 227k in debt by end of 1837 and having a balance of -7k meaning I will be bankrupt in less than 2 years
Honestly this videos been too long ago for me to be able to give a good correction for this strat, give me some time and I'll make a new video on the topic.
Was fun for 1 run on gamepass. Worth playing to have some fun and to see how far it will improve....in 2-3 years! 😂 Not winning any awards should be a wake up call
Honestly, this game gives me day one EU4 vibes. Eventually this game will be good, it's just really lacking right now. Though with the new update I think I can solidly give it a 6 or 7 out of ten. Still needs a lot more to do. 90% of the time in this game is just spent waiting for things to finish building/researching.
7:10 You don't need to puppet those nations. You can liberate them and North Peru will annex them.
I never even bothered to test that, if that is accurate it makes the strat a bit safer.
I've tried this method a few times and it does indeed work. Very good thing to point out, @benzelmer8111!
Wow nice that you are back! i thought the chanel died but its good to still have another vicky 3 youtuber like one proud bavarian
College tried to off me, but I used my knowledge of Victorian era politics to barely pass my chemistry exam.
@@TobyYellsAtThingsglad we have you back
You're insane at this game, dude.
Thank you tobias
No problem
can you do a denmark playthrough, where you form the kalmar union (scandinavia) and take back estonia and oldenburg?

Thanks for the video.
Anytime, should have a refined Super Germany video up next.
How did you get all the nations to join your customs union?
I am finding that impossible
he's back pog
Quick question, how come when I try to confederate, it says I have no influence on Chile?

But can we do it with Paraguay so the Indigenous peoples have an Accepted culture (Guarani)?

How did you do this without tanking your economy? Mine nosedived irreparably.

let's culture convert the world to Polish
I should do that in an EU4 game
