Artorias is such a fun and memorable boss! Loved watching you attempt this fight. One thing that really made my first playthough of DS1 difficult was not understanding how the weight system worked. At the top right of the menu, you'll see these numbers next to something that says "equip load." Those numbers are pretty important. If you go above a certain threshold (50% equip load, or for example 36.0/72.0) your roll will be what it currently is: slow and vulnerable. This is called "fat rolling." By removing some of the weight to get under that 50% (such as removing some heavy armor or extra equipped weapons) you can get a medium roll, which is faster and less vulnerable. This makes dodging attacks a lot easier, especially against artorias. This is also why Havel's ring is really good, because it increases that max equip load a lot, and allows you to have quite a bit more armor. Most people have that ring on almost all the time. Anyway, I really enjoyed the video, looking forward to more.
We play games wrong until forced to do otherwise in this Dojo! lol. But yeah, it certainly didn't help that I was doing this in playthrough 2 so the bosses were even more beefy.
