In korean she said something like Van 'and' Van since he only told her one syllable for a name but korean names consist of three syllables one for the surname and often two for the name sometimes it's only one. I think the translators just used something that sounded funny but I can't tell for sure 🤷🏼♀️😅
Like we all know van in korean sounds like Ban and it is written like Ban bc there is no letter V. So from what I heard that ban means "half" and she kinda said " half half" to make a joke making Van kinda angry bc he is half human and half Demon. This is what a native korean girl believed and said which makes sense. But to me for the 1st time it sounded like "bunny Ban " making it more funny. (Btw after that we had a long disagreement with the name being Van and not Ban.) Which was more funny.
