First off, I want to thank Roxanne for all you've done for the community! I'm not available for most chats but I do replay them. Great Job (to you AND Kathy!)
Good to see Kathy . I missed the live because I wasn’t going to watch The Way Home. But I wanted to watch the reunion so I watched the whole first episode. And like Kathy I loved it & Im hooked for now. That reunion was sooo good.
@@BGr8ful4all init sure you are addressing me. I never said that Jasper was Rick. Jasper and Rick are two different characters. Jasper is a descendent of Thomas Coyle. And Rick is an Augustine, the older brother of Victor. And as for Colton aging. I don’t think he is dead
I think the baby may be baby Casey. The parents look like they could be Alice and Nick. Casey has always been very excited whenever she sees Alice, so I think she could be her daughter . Especially since she is wearing the engagement ring that Kat gave to Alice. I know that Casey is a “Goodwin”, but if she was left in a basket…the Goodwin family could have found her and taken her in.
I just discovered ur reviews. I love them, and I just subscribed!!! I love this show so much. My whole family loves it, even my Dad!!! We've been trying to guess who pushed Alice all week. I also hope we get a Jacob and Danny scene. That would be really nice❤. I really really love Kat and Elliot together. It was obvious from the 1st episode they were meant to be, and Chyler and Evan have so much chemistry its incredible!!!🔥🔥
@EverythingAboutHallmark Wow I'll watch from the start 😃 I'm just subscribed to your UA-cam channel I think, is that the fan page? I'm not very good with technology 😂
Don't forget that Colton, Thomas, and Susanna, all three said "My Katherine." However, the portrait of Katherine had Susanna's trademark ☀as her signature. The same trademark☀ in her writings and recipes for her herbal healing concoctions. In season 2, we saw Del meet with Evelyn Goodwin at the Pointe (formerly known as Coyle's) after the horrific incident involving a younger Kat at Lingermoor the night of the Masquerade. Del begged Evelyn not to publish the article (Evelyn Goodwin owned the Port Haven Harod) as a favor to honor and protect Colton's memory. Del begged, "Please, do it for Colton." The parting spoken words by Evelyn Godwin to Del were "You own me." SECRETS! Colton was drawn to the pond as a young child. His grandmother told him (at the end of the season 2 finale) that it was not his time ...yet; and that he would need to wait. As a father, Colton told his children (and I'm sure Elliot and Danny) NEVER to go anywhere near the pond because it was "A sinkhole." Which brings me to wondering how Caleb and Danny's first encounter as adults went!!? Danny carried unbearable guilt for his best friend Caleb's disappearance for decades. I hope they go back, and cover the nine months after Caleb's return in season 3. Also, Colton, Del, and Kat all have brown eyes; however, Caleb has bright blue eyes, just like the infant left in the Moses basket at the edge of the pond; along with a letter. Could it be that baby Caleb was taken and raised by Colton and Del because perhaps they lost their child? There is at least an eight-year age gap between Kat and Caleb. Del has always been very protective of Caleb even now, as an adult. The dresser drawer full of envelopes with threatening messages to expose their secret has covered years. I find it interesting now that Caleb has returned, so have the envelopes. Decades-long SECRETS! The antique clock Elliot discovered in the wall during the renovation is quite interesting. A clock represents/tells time. Their lives are immersed in time travel. I would not be surprised if Elliot discovers something remarkable when he removes the back panel on the clock in a future episode, which would be an important and revealing link to the past. There is a reason why Del didn’t feel it was the right move to sell Colton’s boat to Nick Oates. Jacob has a lot of experience with sailing out to sea and, his work on ships in the 1800s. I see Colton’s boat becoming an important vehicle, in Jacob’s life in the 21st Century. One last question: Is Goodwin Evelyn's maiden name or her married name? She was Casey Goodwin's grandmother and Casey's father (whom we have not yet met) and who is Lingermoor, the Goodwin family’s estate's legal executor of affairs. The Goodwin family's history is a storehouse of material for many seasons.
Another thought is it is Jacob, the baby. That this is part of the secret, that Del and Colton found him at the pond to begin with. Who are the parents? Alice and another? And this is really far out as an idea lol
I personally think that baby might be Thomas Coyle. I just have a feeling that Thomas will be coming back to Port Haven before this season ends. Possibly in the last episode of the season. I could change my mind but that's what I'm thinking right now.
@@BGr8ful4all interesting but I really don’t think he plays such a big part in the storyline. I like his character and that would shake things up a bit.
(Gloria) Hi Roxanne! I was still away for the Holidays when Ep. 1 aired, but I am caught up now and ready for the chat for Ep. 2 on Tuesday. Exciting stuff happening already!! Always good to hear everyone's thoughts. People see (and think) thinks that don't even cross my mind. See you and Kathy on Tuesday for the Ep. 2 chat!!
I think the pond just takes them where the pond wants them to go to discover something no matter the time. But mentioning she has been gone for 9 months but it's only been 5 days in the past was said for a reason. I think the couple jumping in the pond is Dell and Cole from the 70's Dell got pregnant as a teenager and had the baby in 1700's and went back to their lives and that's the big secret Dell is hiding. The person sending the note has to be Elliot's dad or someone related to Cyrus.
The person Alice saw in the dark at the pond looked smaller like a female. I only saw the sweater folded up. I couldn’t really see it. Im going to watch again.
Hi Roxanne and Kathy sorry I missed this live. Kathy I agree with you I missed a reunion with Jacob and Danny. Also I agree with you Roxanne about the letters Del is receiving and hiding in a drawer it doesn't make sense for her not to show them to her family. Thanks ladies and hope to join in on the next one.
Time did go by faster in the past then in the present when Alice went back and it had been months in 2000's. So this is not the first instance time was different in the past and the present. Remember the backpack with a note from Elliot? Like where are you Alice??! For her it had not been very long for Alice in the present.
@@kimberleighjohnson4142 the amount of time that you travel to the past is the same amount in the present. If cat jumps in the pond and is in the past for two days, she’s only gone for two days in the present. If Alice jumps in the pond and she’s gone for a week then she’s gone for a week in the present. However, you could be in the present for a yearand jump into the pond and it only be a day or two that you’ve been gone since your last visit.
I think Jacob will figure out pretty quickly that he doesn't fit into today, after spending most of his life around 1800. Del still treats him like an 8 year old boy. I don't know if everyone will be successful in making the adjustment.
