This was so helpful. Thank you. And it truly shows no matter the outcome of your audition process being proud of yourself and having fun is so much more important and is what will help you improve!
Hey, I just wanted to say a massive thank you for this video, it has really helped with calming my nerves! I'm currently in the process of applying to drama schools for acting courses and in a panic stage right now realising that all these things such as auditions etc will be happening soon, I also went to an Open day at LIPA and originally I was loving LIPA and the facilities and how friendly the staff were, but wasn't so keen on the town of liverpool, but however now that I have had time to dwell on it and think about it and research a little about Liverpool I would also love to go there! I truely hope that you manage to get in somewhere in this industry because I can see you have that genuine passion for it, thanks again! :)
I'm glad it helped! My bestfriend is currently studing at LIPA and he is in his first year on the acting course. He loves it there and says that it's a lot of hard work, but he loves Liverpool. From what I've seen personally I think Liverpool is a really good place to study, lots going on and can be pretty too. Good Luck with your auditions
what do they do for those who want to go into music/singing? I'm from America and I'm saving up..but any advice? this place looks like my best suit,I've searched around and this one just seemed right
Hi! This was such a good video! My audition is an international audition so I imagine it'll be quite different, but it was really nice to hear a bit about how they do it and what they expect. I'm really excited for my audition but have been having some trouble finding a good contemporary speech. I can't seem to find any that are both naturalistic AND written after 1960. Any suggestions?
Thank you so much for sharing your experience! Keep going with your passion and don’t stop for anything for no one. God has a plan for you ❤

They don't do a musical theatre course, but the acting course does have elements of singing. They do offer a music course though www.lipa.ac.uk
This may be too late but I’m pretty sure you perform a cover and an original song
Oh but they won’t let you just be a singer without willing to song write
Please could you tell me the name of your drama piece you used for your audition ? Xx

Hey.
Please could I ask what contemporary monologue you did?
I did a monologue from a play called Sparks by Simon Longman
I can’t apply because I have went past the deadline can I apply when I’m 18
Yes you can apply at any age as long as you’ll be over 18 when you start the course
Where are you going for uni then?☺️
LIPA is uni
