I greet you from Germany but I am a Pole who knows a woman - a former prisoner of Auschwitz -Birkenau. Referring to your role as the camp commandant - a very difficult acting, you played realistically amazingly!

Cheap sensationalism at the expense of the Catholic Church, how predictable. Could someone please change this scratched record?
Fiennes defends it because the history of the Church includes transgressions and material interests pursued by certain members of its hierarchy, but the effect of this movie and the novel it is based on is to undermine it in the eyes of those who don’t fully understand it. Every institution that has ever existed has its impostors, individuals who abuse it for ulterior motives, or who are misguided in their actions within it, but that does not detract from the true purpose at the heart of that institution, and the ideals that its members are expected to aspire to.
The Catholic Church is the Church that was created by Jesus, the Church that adopts the teachings of Jesus in their most literal, unquestioning and comprehensive form, and at whose head Jesus appointed St Peter as the foundation (rock) on which it lives on under his successors. The urge to project our human failings onto something which aspires to be beyond them is a sad reflection of human nature.
