- The owner loves the local Kyobashi and started this bento shop because he wants the customers to be happy.
He is a cook and also runs a tavern, so he has excellent cooking skills.
Most of the bento boxes are handmade, have a delicious taste, and are of high quality.

what impresses me most about the folks preparing these bento boxes isn’t so much the quality of the food (though that is unbelievably good) it’s how they prepare and finish them as if they were being sold for many times this - whatever our $$$ situation - we all deserve respect - many blessings for doing this 🙏

¥200のり弁食べましたが、この値段で美味しかったですよ。店主さんも気の良い方でした。近くなら毎日でも行きたいですね。

This is insane if it is only sold for $2 a bento. I understand the owner is probably returning what he/she could to the society and selling affordable bento to the locals. Good job!

ただ、お金を払っただけで「お客様」ずらする輩が多いから色々、大変だと思う。
日本人は「お互い様」を大切にしてきたのに、ちょっとしたミスで苦情言うやつ多い。

Love it...kudos to the owner and thank you for sharing...one of these days when I come back to Japan I hope I could go and buy and taste there food...home cooking...comfort food for sure....don't mind to eat their creation everyday....night and day...fantastic...these people are generous people for me it is not only about profit but service to thy neighbor and mankind! God bless these people I hope they get wet and they propagate into more good person like them...hahaha!

This is an absolutely amazing thing what the owner is doing.
However the price reflects a much darker environment and situation that is happening in Japan, and maybe also very soon all over the world in more other nations.
Deflation and Inflation are 2 processes on different sides of the same coin that ultimately hurts the poor and working class people.
$2 bentos in a nation like Japan is reflective of wage stagnation and or wage depreciation for general masses.
It is insane to even see this in a nation like Japan, unimaginable.
