- I've been making silk t-shirts lately after I was introduced to silk knit sometime last year. If you don't know, silk makes a wonderful and sturdy knit that withstands regular old washing and drying, perfect for glorious t-shirts. www.BrianSews.com
I am so glad that I found your Channel!! You are so helpful!
Nice to have you back doing videos again.
Not to mention that if tou want to do a resist dye technique like shibori, batik or yuzen it will only cost you a dollar or two more to do it yourself. If you were to want to buy a silk shirt with a resist dye technique on it you will go well into the hundreds of dollars!
LOL...You are so fun to watch and you definitely know you're stuff!!! I feel like I'm watching a skit on SNL. You should have your own show on HGTV, you're really a low key star!!!
great video!
Silk doesn't pill because the fiber length is very long. I've had trouble sewing with it so far, but I think it's an issue with needle type and thread tension.
Brian i love that panel you have got in your tea shirt
i think it really bad that they cut your fabric like that thou
i have been watching your videos because i am learning to sew
i think you are real cool
wish i was half as good at sewing as you are
in time i wish !
why don't you do all your shaping with the side seams and eliminate the back seam?
Brian peace cotton & silk are not luxurious in the world of fibers- i know that silk isnt guilt free but it is what it is.. if you want nice silk you cant do peace silk unfortunately!
