Somin’s just completed her stint in Living Together in an empty room at that time and even though it’s from another channel (MBC) variety show world is a small world so they probably heard good things from her performance there plus her stints in other shows like Happy Together and Knowing Brothers. YJS’s blessing is just the seal to finalize their choice and this very episode seems to be her audition since she got invited when her latest drama already ended a few months ago. In my opinion, they already have an eye on her when they invited her here, she performed reslly well so she got the job. Also I think Jinjoo was also a potential candidate but sadly she did not shined in her that much but all still turned out well since she ended up in HDYP.
