      I can make a note to include a glossary slide when I re-do/update this webinar in the future. In the meantime, are there any terms in particular that I can explain here in the comments?

    Hi, is there a way to add 'a table of Abbreviations' used for spot elevation??

    • @Landfx
      @Landfx  3 роки тому +1

      Yes, you can run a grading schedule from the grading manager (grading section, not Northing/Easting section), and edit the information for what each abbreviation means there. Here's a documentation page on the grading manager: www.landfx.com/docs/site-hardscape-design/grading-tools/item/163-grading.html#generating_a_grading_schedule

    in watching your video at 14 minutes in you describe the slope of the example to 5:1 and it's actually 5:2. Just don't want to confuse anyone.

      You're right! Classic case of the the bolded text on the page being the most likely to have a typo. I'll look to see if we can correct the recording. Good eye. Ideally, I'd probably display that as 2.5:1, so it's easier to compare to the commonly known 3:1 slope.

    One Issue: Why can't we put spot elevation tags in "feet-inches format"??

    • @Landfx
      @Landfx  3 роки тому +1

      That would typically make for an extremely long spot elevation callout, especially once you start getting into fractions of inches. It's not an option right now because it's not a typically used standard for imperial drawings, from our experience working with thousands of design offices. If you'd like to share a link to a local standard where architectural inches spot elevations are required, we'd be happy to have a look and consider it for our wishlist.
