He bro.... Im doing security down in Los Lunas today watching vids on that ICON knife.... I was born in Abq... grew up & played guitar in rock bands in the clubs for a couple years ( before DJ's) Have a good one brutha..
That Harbor Freight knife is now become my knife I always carry at work ever since I made a lanyard for it, my first attempt at making one and frankly it’s not perfect but it’s super easy to get the knife out of the pocket. You forgot one good reason for purchasing is if it gets damaged you can walk into any Harbor Freight and they’ll replace it free
Good review. I started EDCing the Icon knife a couple of months ago. Like you, I use the knife a few times a day for cutting this, opening that, etc. It works great and I love how smooth the operation is.
Most critics fail to note the fact that the Icon knife also has a Lifetime Warranty. It breaks, just walk into a HF store and leave with the replacement
My friend, no you are not barking up the wrong tree - choosing a knife is like a life-long commitment identical to choosing your life-long significant other. Form, beauty, dependability, compatibility, and loyalty are hallmarks of that commitment, be it a knife or a significant other. This is why I have cats and not a wife.
I just ordered a buck 841 just because it is made in u.s. but i might pick one of these up.. i have a camillus knife for about 20years.. it has a lever on the side which flips it open.. and a lock like a buck knife.. i really like this knife but options are nice..
How's the weight. I like a light knife. Like the composite handles just light. Like you not a knife snob just like to have one I have a Kershaw and a little Benchmade I really like but it's kind of small and doesn't have the flick trigger. My favorite right now is just a $20 Camllus Titanum. It looks to be about the size of that Harbor Freight one, maybe a tad smaller but it's a great knife. Will check that HF blade out though I like the way it looks.
Ok very smart , I fought myself getting this blade to the point that I had it at the register and scanned, and I returned it... What . So I have wanted a D2 blade for the longest time but out of my budget point for so long, so when I saw this at their SEMA showing I have been going to HF and asking do you have it yet. My point this weekend there is a Icon deal buy however many icon hand tools get a percentage off, and. For I TC members spend 40 you get a free tool. Well I made that super purchase included was the icon knife. With the lifetime warranty 🎉
Good on ya for keeping her, always cheaper! LOL 14 years, pretty damn good lol! Love that you're not a knife snob, my people lol! (says a total snob about everything he's in to!) 😄
I just bought one for the same reason you did. I do have many knives I can carry but this seems to be my favorite!
It's such a great value. i carry mine everywhere.
I have and love the icon knife. My only dis is there is no jimping on the blade .
That would be a nice touch, for sure.
I also bought one and I’m extremely happy with it so far …My best from Albuquerque..

🤔 Will Harbor Freight be around to exchange it after the Apocalypse?

I bought it. Great knife and excellent blade retention.

I use a butter knife 🔪 🧈
The nice thing about the butter knife is you can use either side because they're both just a sharp
I don't know. An attacker might think twice about going after someone confident enough in their abilities to carry a butter knife. 🙃
Get a knife in the dollar store and carrier that...
