Bananas in the boat is bad luck. Had that happened to me last year at a tournament, not knowing he had brought some in. Take this as an advice. GL fishing.

Great video! I fished a tourney on Conroe early last summer and struggled BAD to get a limit. That lank is definitely not one of my favorites in Texas. Good luck going forward!
Life goals - Get almost as accurate at casting as Jacob Wheeler. I'll never make it look that easy, but I'll settle for something approaching that precision.

Man those were some tough practice days. Although Conroe is always a big puzzle for me. Seems like the bass move so much.
Did you hit a stump in Luces Bayou while on Lake Houston? There’s some big ole stumps in there.
What’s your go to trailer bait for your buzzbaits now since you’re no longer with gene larew or do you still use your hammer craws and biffle bugs or googan baits like maybe a bandito or crackin craw?
I alternate depending on the situation, I will still use a Hammer Craw for extra lift to slow roll it every and then or their target toad as well when in heavier cover. A bandito bug makes a great trailer as well

4 questions - What culling system do you use and is it fish friendly?
What size spinning reels do you like and why? Please and thank you!
Rapala tournament culling system, I made a video awhile back about it. Don't have to use them in this current format though, MLF officials have one that they calibrate daily 2500-3000 size spinning reels depending on line size. 3000 can hold a lot more line for fishing deep

@@WheelerFishing Thanks dude. I just picked up some Fish Mokney Woolys for cold winter time fishing but now I'm looking into something that is comfortable for spring and summer time. Something that isn't too thick but still offers some SPF. I want to see some new Googan Gloves. Talk to the guys and make it happen.

I've eaten at that exact Yummy-Yummy (on 1097 in Willis, TX) a half dozen times but I won't go back. Every time I've eaten there it's been worse than the previous time and most recently it was horrible.

For the Bass Pro Tour events it's different than the traditional MLF format, everyone knows where we are going to go in head of time but not the exact format of each event yet, some events we will alternate different lakes for the different rounds
Just curious, how many rods,reels, lures do you have?
Doubt he knows. Really they get so much sponser stuff idk if they could possibly keep up with it all.

Typically we rent homes from Airbnb or VRBO or get a room at a hotel. Houses make it really nice being able to spread out and stay together
