I used to work for an Arizona businessman and cryonicist named Dave Pizer. For several years in the 1990's he served without compensation on Alcor's board of directors, and the time he devoted to running Alcor came at the expense of attending to his own various businesses. So I have on good authority that Alcor is not in operation as a "scam." By contrast, I have reservations about the new generation of cryonicists and cryonics activists in the Millennial and Zoomer cohorts who claim that they made fortunes in their teens & twenties as venture capitalists, tech entrepreneurs, cryptocurrency miners and such. Getting rich in those ways can't possibly be that easy, so something else must be going on here. And I have the impression that these individuals, unlike the original cryonicists, are viewing cryonics as a way to make millions of dollars quickly without having to do any real work
Thats assuming that the company freezing bodies and putting them in tanks never goes broke and needs to shut down. Who is gonna keep funding these tanks forever
An ex-girlfriend of mine named Lisa is cryopreserved at Alcor in Scottsdale, Arizona. If she's revivable in a technologically competent Future World, I hope she doesn't get "battle-angeled.'
Sounds like a simpsons prediction

This is great business... Get the dead to invest in you and you don't have to worry about returning the money. Clever
