Season five’s Daisy is still the same Daisy from the first season. It’s just that this one is scarred and has to deal with knowing what it means to be someone who fights to save the world. Season one’s Daisy hadn’t seen what can happen when trying to make things better just makes them worse. I like the current Daisy more than the Daisy that AOS started with because there’s just so much more dynamic and color to her character. Sure, she’s a little more serious because of how many times she’s been broken but she’s still the same under her skin. The current Daisy has just put up a wall to protect season one’s Daisy from getting hurt again.

It's sad so many people stopped watching this show after the first season because it so good.
yeah the first half of the season was really hard to get through though the first time lol pretty slow and boring =P after that, it's non stop amazing
What idiot stops watching after the first season? Every body knows the first season is bound to be boring because we're meeting the characters

San Chaverst I stopped watching when it became clear the writes messed up the character of Grant Ward and Skyeward in general.
People keep saying season one was boring. I don't get this. The first half of season one was fine. Was it boring? Or did people just hype the show up in their head? Did they think they were going to get MCU movies and not a television program? Did they expect superheroes, the AVENGERS, from episode one?
The first half of the season wasn't boring(too me). My take is most people just overhyped themselves then when the show didn't fit their hype for superheroes and superhero action they got "bored".
As for the last comment that compared it to the Netflix shows (guessing that what they mean by Defenders). Many people say those shows are far more boring because they are all character driven for then first half of their seasons. Basically what Agents of Shield did for it's first episodes and they still had far more action. The difference, NO SUPERPOWERS(Heroes). That's it.
Daisy and Mack saying "you don't have to do this" in sync just made me SOB
I think I come back to Daisy edits quite often, she’s so misunderstood, she always wanted to do what was best for the people she loved no matter what it cost her (even her life). I believe Daisy, Nat, and Wanda would have all very good friends if they had been together sometime :)

i feel like more than anything, at first Ward's betrayal and then Lincoln's death actually changed everything for Daisy/Skye...on top of that, everything her mom did..it took her sanity or at least most of her sanity

I’m sorry but daisy has suffered so much even more so then the rest of the team practically since the day she was born Fitz had no right to say what he did about her abandoning them and they have all suffered yes they have had their own personal struggles but nothing on daisys level the day she was born Hydra ripped her away from her mother and father, butchered her mother while she was alive by a madman, was an orphan, never had a loving family or was raised by one, found out ward the first person she loved betrayed her, then found out her father was a murderer and wanted to kill shield, found out she was an alien and got her powers but couldn’t control them, shield tried to kill her when the agent shot a bullet at her, finally meet her mother, her own mother tried to kill her and had to watch her own father kill her, fell in love with Lincoln, was infected by hive, killed malick, was made to kill her family and friends, had to watch and listen to Lincoln as he was about to die, lost Lincoln and even ward again, she left her family and friends, was depressed and taking pills constantly, her bones were splintered and her arms constantly breaking,, was framed for shooting general Talbot, lost her powers due to a power dampener placed there by the kree, was made to fight against another, not wanting to leave the future as she thought she would destroy it but was force to by Coulson, found out Coulson was dying, she was not ready to be leader, fitz basically torturing her while having his mental episode, gave her powers back even knowing she didn’t want them back for now, went against Talbot and nearly got absorbed, Fitz got killed, had to make peace with her adopted father Coulson dying, and gave Mack the leader ship role. So Fitz she has been through hell u don’t get to judge her or blame her and moral of daisy’s life wherever daisy goes death follows. Daisy definitely has avengers level power and skill. She has lost her mother, her father, Lincoln and even ward and then lost Coulson again
omg this has to be the most accurate thing ive ever read. sure, she left. but fitz has NO right to say that. in another episode, daisy said 'we dont turn on each other here.' and fitz said 'can i remind you how many times you've done that?' i think he has no right, seeing that he almost killed yo-yo in season 6 by programming a robot to kill her, and then forcibly removed the inhibitor.
@@priyanshiarora8172 Couldn't agree with you more. Episode 4x02 where Fitz blames her for leaving bothers me because it ignores her serious mental health issues. And because he has no right to judge her ... plus every member of the original team has left at some point ... Jemma asked for the Hydra assignment to get away from Fitz after season 1, May left for 6 months and contacted no one after season 2, Fitz was absent looking for clues to the monolith after season 2 and the team covered for him, and Coulson bailed on the team to go on his vengeance quest in season 3. But right, she's the one who should be yelled at for turning her back on the team when she is clearly depressed and suicidal. And I have no words for what happens post 5x14. But when Fitz says that bs after torturing Daisy and then the rest of the team joins him in victim blaming and gaslighting her, I almost had to stop watching. I just couldn't stop and not support Daisy!
@@rachels1313 I totally agree!! It was torturous watching Daisy's inhibitor being removed. But of course everyone's gonna ignore it. As for yoyo I felt like she turned against daisy for some reason. I would have honestly prefered daisy join the avengers in season 4. There are great fan fictions like these where she tags along natasha to infinity war and I would have loved that! And for what you said about may, jemma, Coulson leaving, that is so true everyone just ignores it and makes daisy the victims when her leaving was the MOST justified.
@@priyanshiarora8172 1st, I totally agree that Daisy’s leaving was the most justified. And I actually feel like she needed to leave if she was ever going to find her way back. As for Yo-Yo, I was always confused since she should have supported her inhuman sister over the person who treated her like a weapon that needed fixing. Then she kept her knowledge of the future a secret from everyone and just got pissed at Daisy’s decisions. I have actually yelled at the tv then freaking tell her what you know so the team can make decisions based on all the information! And the things she said to Daisy were just awful. I’m not sure her character ever really recovered for me. Joining the Avengers would have been so much better and just epic!
@@rachels1313 oh yes, daisy needed to leave if she could ever really find that true self of hers which was lost after all that trauma. I would've loved to see daisy fight thanos with Wanda, and even nat and her would make great friends! Yoyo should be definitely told the team what she knew about the future. What I would've prefered tho is that daisy beat graviton without the help of the centipede serum, and ultimately Coulson not Dying
Also, the writers of the show never really let daisy to be at her true extent she can control VIBRATIONS she should be able to do wayyy more than earthquakes.

Words cannot describe how much i love your way of story telling and potraying characters. Mat you improved so much that i cannot understand when all it came from. Currently your edits and love for editing gives me strength to think about new edits, way and stuff in such a quality.
I enjoyed the mpst first 40 seconds with the way how she tells a staory with pauses and part from 2:30 - until end. The cinematogralhy + action.. again great work Mat

That’s why I hated Fitz about saying we all have been through horrible things yes true but daisy has been through hell mind control, the first man she loved betrayed her not that he would hurt her, lost tripped through terrigenisis, lost her mother and father and lost Lincoln and Coulson but I hope ward comes back in the final season but good ward
But also she not only lost trip through terregenis but she blamed herself for his death
