I can not get over the fact that Love was perfect for Joe because she quite literally accepted him for his worst, which is a serial killer. Like it’s messed up but they were perfect for each other. And that still wasn’t enough for him.
I was so mad when he wasn’t loving her right ... joe doesn’t wanna look in the mirror and he HAS TO with her because They are SOULMATES and so alike. Looking in the mirror makes him see his own monstrous ways and he hates her for it. Booooo. No one will love him the way LOVE did.
Joe wants someone like his mom because he wants to kill his mom but also get her love and approval all at the same time. So he looks for broken girls that he can manipulate, belittle and “save” all at the same time. He wants to screw with their minds and at the same time, screw his own mind knowing full well what he does can never be considered love and he knows this, he can practically see the future, and once he’s decided he can’t be on the rollercoaster anymore, he starts revealing little sides of his real self to them, knowing full well he will be rejected and then he finally accomplished the inevitable, which is to kill his mother (and slowly another part of himself) through the women he’s with.
The look on Victoria's face when Penn called Love the "most evil woman ever" and the way she actually cried watching Love die. You can actually see how much Victoria genuinely loved the character she portrayed

Shalita's character, Sherry, somehow ended up being one of my favorites towards the end. I definitely enjoyed her acting, especially while she was in the cage.

I think it's guilt. The only difference is this time it was actually self-defense. So, if he isn't haunted by the guilt, it would probably be because he felt completely justified.
The ending for me was perfect in terms of acting, script, and music scoring. I was literally crying when Love was confronting Joe because I can feel her pain. Victoria played it so well. She delivered the lines perfectly and it cut deeply. She deserves an award just for this episode alone.

It’s just incredible how much my opinions changed about Sherry and Cary throughout the season. Both as individual characters and the relationship between them. That’s what I call character arcs/development! Truly impressive. The rest of the season was a blast as well. I’m just talking about Sherry and Cary right now because their drastic improvement as characters was quite a surprise! Season 3 is wonderful Netflix! ❤️😜 The cast performances were everything I/YOU could hope for and all the other creators behind the show make it such a special thing to watch! 😊
In the middle of all the madness this season Tati's lines about your inner protector being your true love caught me so off guard, it was so beautiful 😢
I still think a cool alternate ending would've been if, after paralyzing Joe, Love locked him up in the cage and essentially did to him exactly what he did to Becks in S1. They could've even killed Joe off in a sort of parallel way, with him grabbing his hidden key from the cage, trying to get up the stairs, and dying at the top; as Love stands over him and he breathes his last dying breath, he sees his own face written across her features. In an epilogue Love could have moved somewhere else and now the narration would be from HER perspective, as she finds a "you" of her own, bringing the series to a close but continuing the overall cycle of awfulness. But I mean, this ending was also AMAZING 😍 Edit: Love's "you" in the epilogue could also have simply been Henry, because it would showcase how obsessive and unhealthy love isn't always of the "romantic" sort involving an obsessed stalker like Joe-often times it can be familial, and generational, and now Love has actually adopted that obsession from TWO "bloodlines"-the toxic maternal love of her own mother/family and the manipulative, delusional love of Joe. It would also close out the series with an unanswered question of nature vs. nurture, with Henry's unclear future being a great big question mark and a call to reflect on our own generational trauma as viewers.
The moment he realized he just killed the mother of his child. Like when that kid grows up and understand what his father did there would absolutely be no for forgiving him.
I was really relieved that that Conrads survived. Just because they were stupid doesn't mean they had to die, they were fun even before it was revealed how much they love each other.
Wow, I never realized this! The first dish Love ever cooked Joe was roast chicken in the beginning of season 2. And now, at the end it was the last meal she cooked Joe before she died. Great touch :) loved the full circle moment.
Love was the actually the most interesting character ever been on the show! She was unpredictable and exciting. Victoria did a really great job! She was the reason I got hooked. I hope she gets more exciting roles in the future!
Truthfully speaking ,I am much much SCARED of love more than I ever was with joe. The sadness behind those eyes of her, one second you're fine, other second she is killing you.
Joe in my opinion never cared about Henry, not really. He was just an obstacle preventing Joe from leaving Love. Also he was a constant reminder that he was ultimately doomed to raise the kid right due to his own troubled upbringing. When he abandoned Henry it wasn’t a “romantic” sacrifice so Henry could have a better chance at life. That’s just his fairytale delusion so he can have a clean break to run away after his next obsession and avoid the responsibility of parenthood. Also I know Penn was joking about Joe wanting another Child with Marian, but I can totally see him doing that.
But wasn’t Henry Joe’s sole reason for trying to be better. I think Joe did care about Henry and that’s why he gave him to Dante at the end. Because he knew that ultimately Love was right, that they were bad for him.

@Cameryn Marrow Joe does want to be better but he doesn’t know how. His abandonment and lack of parenting fuels his lack of discipline. From a young age he developed a hero complex. He wants to be the good guy so bad but always seems to be the bad guy at the end of the day. He falls for women who are subjected to some kinda of trauma or abuse caused by others like his mom. The flashbacks show he kills because he feels it is the right thing to do and if he does not then eventually the person he wants to protect will continue to be harmed in some way or even killed like his school nurse. He thinks he’s the good cop, kills ppl with reason but he’s still the archetype of a psychopath. Still behind it all Joe is just looking for love and that love being returned. How ironic that his love interest name was Love but he eventually realized how love can get ugly if you do not fall in love for the right reasons. He pretty much falls for everyone and anyone who’s nice and shows him attention … so go figure he pretty much spun his own web of entanglement with Love. He’s gotta get that “are you flirting with me?” together; that’s his favorite line 😩🙄😂. Moving on to Love, she was basically a mirror of Joe. He hated Love because she was a reminder of the side of him he wanted to forget. Contrary to Joe, Love is a sociopath and killed without logical reason. She also has a hero complex but hers is deeper rooted in delusions and efforts to validate the lies she tells herself aka hypocrisy. She goes to extreme lengths to be the hero but sadly each time she looks more and more villainous with her lack of control. I honestly was ready for her to go somehow cause she created her own problems then blamed Joe. Although Joe was not perfect at least he tried to NOT kill people, he was definitely trying. Can’t really say the same for Love. She literally cheated first, got pregnant by that person and tried to kill everyone in town even the guy who showed her more affection than her husband … meanwhile Joe just trying to read and distract himself from the monster he impregnated and married. The sad thing about it is Love is right, no one will love Joe like her because she knows all of him. All of his other love interests know only the book store owner, neighbor, etc. Joe will probably keep spiraling until he is in jail or dead-all in his search of Love.

Victoria's acting is outstanding especially when she finds out the truth about Joe and then tries to talk it through to him. They're spot on emotions of a lost , broken and a revengeful women. She proves that you can't just stand in front of the camera and simply say the lines. You need the bloody TALENT for it.
Victoria is so good she also brings out Penn’s best skill. Penn have said once he gains energy from other actors and it shows she brings a great energy for him.
i was terrified that with Sherry and Cary they'd go the "open/poly relationships are just a façade" route and i was SO happy they didn't. they have problems like any other couple and being stuck in a cage together for days is bound to make u a lil crazy but they have so much love for each other, i love them!!!!

I was constantly saying “ok but they’re a PSYCHO!” And then im like “wait i kinda feel bad for them tho..” the story, the timeline, the plot, the characters, the acting This was absolutely insane. What a HUGE season. Like this was just massive. The web of interactions and characters. This was a priviledge to experience. Im so beyond curious on how season 4 is gonna go cause like.....what else can even happen now?????

7:23 I love how Pen, Victoria and Tati all get the same sad feeling when Love dies. It just goes to show that the scene was filmed in such an amazing way and they too felt what we felt when Love.
I felt genuinely sad to see Love die. On paper we are not meant to like her, she’s rich, spoilt and a psychopathic murderer but this season the way we got to see different sides of her, like her real grief for her twin brother, and her hope that Joe loved her (even though she was cheating on him) this made her a real person. And when she died, I felt bad because I wish she could have seen herself and her actions and tried to focus on the things that she’s good at, rather than the evil side. After all she has a better moral compass than the people in that neighbourhood, to the point that she called them out, ironically on her last episode, completely ignoring her personality disorders. Anyways I’m sad to see her go. 😢
The most exciting part of the last episode for me was literally seeing Love's character go into beast mode and completely take charge. It was such a power move I wanted to see her come out on top.

Seriously, I thought season 2 would suck without Beck. Nope, it was great. Then I thought season 3 would suck; married, child, and stuck in the suburbs. Nope, it was great.
This show was fascinating. They are both so messed up, mirrors of each other almost every way. Joe is also searching for the one who will stay...until they destroy the illusion of them he has in his mind by either finding out the horrible things he's done which means he will always kill them and move on. (He didn't succeed with Candace but Love takes care of that) Like the way his mother just rejects him and starts over with a new son like he didn't exist. He does the same. He's normal in his head, he's searching for love and he's a hero when seeking to remove the impediments in the lives of his current obsession and he's just pushed into killing. He never turns himself in meaning he's not guilt ridden over it all. It just never works out...in his head. He has a vague acknowledgement that they only thing wrong about himself when he compares himself to his son but only cause he doesn't want the same abandonment to happen to the lil guy. Then there is Love. I mean girl is just as deluded as he is. She had to yell that she was pregnant lest he kill her in that moment. Of course he never loved her. She recognizes the pattern in him but she doesn't completely recognize her own black widow ways. She keeps murdering females that threaten her loves. She's willing to kill for them, until they eventually don't meet her delusions of what love needs to be...unconditional and really whatever she decides it to be cause she just randomly starts banging the neighbors son and doesn't acknowledge it's cheating.Then she eventually kills them all. I disagree when audience members whine about "normalizing" them but it isn't normalizing. I think the show does a great job in demonstrating, through Joe's narration and sometimes Love's, that in their head, everything they do is logically justified.
I got no doubt that Victoria Pedretti will become a huge actor and eventually wanted to portray a lot of characters in the future. One does not have to be super smart to figure that out

End of season 3, his love for her was completely dead. Only reason beck kept appearing was due to him still having some sort of attachment to her. There is no attachment to be had with Love, tbh.
@@mykellharris1 I don't think it's about still "loving" her. I think he kills them AFTER he stops loving them, when the fantasy is broken and he feels "betrayed." He used to see Candace, too. I think it's guilt. The only difference is this time it was actually self-defense. So, if he isn't haunted by the guilt, it would probably be because he felt completely justified.

The ending for me was perfect in terms of acting, script, and music scoring. I was literally crying when Love was confronting Joe because I can feel her pain. Victoria played it so well. She delivered the lines perfectly and it cut deeply. She deserves an award just for this episode alone.

It’s just incredible how much my opinions changed about Sherry and Cary throughout the season. Both as individual characters and the relationship between them. That’s what I call character arcs/development! Truly impressive. The rest of the season was a blast as well. I’m just talking about Sherry and Cary right now because their drastic improvement as characters was quite a surprise! Season 3 is wonderful Netflix! ❤️😜

I still think a cool alternate ending would've been if, after paralyzing Joe, Love locked him up in the cage and essentially did to him exactly what he did to Becks in S1. They could've even killed Joe off in a sort of parallel way, with him grabbing his hidden key from the cage, trying to get up the stairs, and dying at the top; as Love stands over him and he breathes his last dying breath, he sees his own face written across her features. In an epilogue Love could have moved somewhere else and now the narration would be from HER perspective, as she finds a "you" of her own, bringing the series to a close but continuing the overall cycle of awfulness. But I mean, this ending was also AMAZING 😍
Edit: Love's "you" in the epilogue could also have simply been Henry, because it would showcase how obsessive and unhealthy love isn't always of the "romantic" sort involving an obsessed stalker like Joe-often times it can be familial, and generational, and now Love has actually adopted that obsession from TWO "bloodlines"-the toxic maternal love of her own mother/family and the manipulative, delusional love of Joe. It would also close out the series with an unanswered question of nature vs. nurture, with Henry's unclear future being a great big question mark and a call to reflect on our own generational trauma as viewers.
I would've liked that for an ending if there was no plans of season 4, as I can't see the show without Joe, as amazing as Victoria is at playing Love.

Love was the actually the most interesting character ever been on the show! She was unpredictable and exciting. Victoria did a really great job! She was the reason I got hooked. I hope she gets more exciting roles in the future!

Joe in my opinion never cared about Henry, not really. He was just an obstacle preventing Joe from leaving Love. Also he was a constant reminder that he was ultimately doomed to raise the kid right due to his own troubled upbringing. When he abandoned Henry it wasn’t a “romantic” sacrifice so Henry could have a better chance at life. That’s just his fairytale delusion so he can have a clean break to run away after his next obsession and avoid the responsibility of parenthood. Also I know Penn was joking about Joe wanting another Child with Marian, but I can totally see him doing that.
But wasn’t Henry Joe’s sole reason for trying to be better. I think Joe did care about Henry and that’s why he gave him to Dante at the end. Because he knew that ultimately Love was right, that they were bad for him.

He's always going to be chasing after a new obsession and killing anyone who gets in his way. What he tells himself in his narration and what he actually does are always at odds. He's an unreliable narrator after all.
@Cameryn Marrow Joe does want to be better but he doesn’t know how. His abandonment and lack of parenting fuels his lack of discipline. From a young age he developed a hero complex. He wants to be the good guy so bad but always seems to be the bad guy at the end of the day. He falls for women who are subjected to some kinda of trauma or abuse caused by others like his mom. The flashbacks show he kills because he feels it is the right thing to do and if he does not then eventually the person he wants to protect will continue to be harmed in some way or even killed like his school nurse. He thinks he’s the good cop, kills ppl with reason but he’s still the archetype of a psychopath. Still behind it all Joe is just looking for love and that love being returned. How ironic that his love interest name was Love but he eventually realized how love can get ugly if you do not fall in love for the right reasons. He pretty much falls for everyone and anyone who’s nice and shows him attention … so go figure he pretty much spun his own web of entanglement with Love. He’s gotta get that “are you flirting with me?” together; that’s his favorite line 😩🙄😂. Moving on to Love, she was basically a mirror of Joe. He hated Love because she was a reminder of the side of him he wanted to forget. Contrary to Joe, Love is a sociopath and killed without logical reason. She also has a hero complex but hers is deeper rooted in delusions and efforts to validate the lies she tells herself aka hypocrisy. She goes to extreme lengths to be the hero but sadly each time she looks more and more villainous with her lack of control. I honestly was ready for her to go somehow cause she created her own problems then blamed Joe. Although Joe was not perfect at least he tried to NOT kill people, he was definitely trying. Can’t really say the same for Love. She literally cheated first, got pregnant by that person and tried to kill everyone in town even the guy who showed her more affection than her husband … meanwhile Joe just trying to read and distract himself from the monster he impregnated and married. The sad thing about it is Love is right, no one will love Joe like her because she knows all of him. All of his other love interests know only the book store owner, neighbor, etc. Joe will probably keep spiraling until he is in jail or dead-all in his search of Love.

Victoria's acting is outstanding especially when she finds out the truth about Joe and then tries to talk it through to him. They're spot on emotions of a lost , broken and a revengeful women. She proves that you can't just stand in front of the camera and simply say the lines. You need the bloody TALENT for it.

I actually loved that moment at 7:15, Joe realizing that, yes, Love is right, he's not good for Henry and needs to give him a better life
I felt genuinely sad to see Love die. On paper we are not meant to like her, she’s rich, spoilt and a psychopathic murderer but this season the way we got to see different sides of her, like her real grief for her twin brother, and her hope that Joe loved her (even though she was cheating on him) this made her a real person. And when she died, I felt bad because I wish she could have seen herself and her actions and tried to focus on the things that she’s good at, rather than the evil side. After all she has a better moral compass than the people in that neighbourhood, to the point that she called them out, ironically on her last episode, completely ignoring her personality disorders. Anyways I’m sad to see her go. 😢

that final episode made the entire season worthy. the twist was amazing and for me Victoria stole the season with her acting.
The most exciting part of the last episode for me was literally seeing Love's character go into beast mode and completely take charge. It was such a power move I wanted to see her come out on top.

This show was fascinating. They are both so messed up, mirrors of each other almost every way. Joe is also searching for the one who will stay...until they destroy the illusion of them he has in his mind by either finding out the horrible things he's done which means he will always kill them and move on. (He didn't succeed with Candace but Love takes care of that) Like the way his mother just rejects him and starts over with a new son like he didn't exist. He does the same. He's normal in his head, he's searching for love and he's a hero when seeking to remove the impediments in the lives of his current obsession and he's just pushed into killing. He never turns himself in meaning he's not guilt ridden over it all. It just never works out...in his head. He has a vague acknowledgement that they only thing wrong about himself when he compares himself to his son but only cause he doesn't want the same abandonment to happen to the lil guy. Then there is Love. I mean girl is just as deluded as he is. She had to yell that she was pregnant lest he kill her in that moment. Of course he never loved her. She recognizes the pattern in him but she doesn't completely recognize her own black widow ways. She keeps murdering females that threaten her loves. She's willing to kill for them, until they eventually don't meet her delusions of what love needs to be...unconditional and really whatever she decides it to be cause she just randomly starts banging the neighbors son and doesn't acknowledge it's cheating.Then she eventually kills them all. I disagree when audience members whine about "normalizing" them but it isn't normalizing. I think the show does a great job in demonstrating, through Joe's narration and sometimes Love's, that in their head, everything they do is logically justified.
This show is just a masterpiece
