If God existed then why would there be evil and suffering in the world? Here in Uganda more than 99% are religious fanatics, the worst kind of believers. I see people waste their time and their resources in the pursuit of a god that clearly doesn't exist. We still have poverty, homicide and crime rates through the roof We have , acid burn victims, amputees on almost every street in the city centers as well as street preachers. All these people praying to this god in vain. Never have I witnessed an acid burn victim grow their face back nor have I seen an amputee grow their limbs back. Africans are the most religious people on the planet and what do they get for it ? Hell on earth. It seems that this god if it exists hates the people most obsessed with it. To believe in a god, at least the kind of which you believe in one must be the most delusional they can ever be. You need to switch off your brain and make yourself the center of the universe. You need to look at your life and be grateful to a god for the good things in your life while numbing yourself to all the bad things in everyone else's life . As if you're more important than everyone else suffering. Or do you think that your god loves you more than it loves the amputees and acid burn victims it doesn't heal and didn't protect in the first place? Do you consider yourself of more importance than these people? Do you know how large the universe is? The earth and our solar system is one among billions of other star systems in the milky way Galaxy which is also one amongst trillions of other galaxies in the universe and that's just the visible universe. The universe could actually be larger. Do you seriously believe that an intelligent mind created the vast universe rendered it uninhabitable for life with black holes and red dwarves only to put life on a tiny little planet? Do you know that 99% of the universe is uninhabitable? Do you also know that 99% of all life that ever lived has gone extinct? Why would any intelligent being create species , the vast majority of which would go extinct? It would take only a strong delusion, the kind of which you have to look at the vast hostile universe and conclude that it was all made for humans on this tiny little planet.
