    I had the honor of taking my first ballet class from Melissa in 1981 at her studio in New York. I was an adult student but she took all of us very seriously. My intro to the generous spirit of true artists.

    What a treat, this and the other snippets are! I'm sorry now that I didn't see it then. (Winthrop Sargent thought the ballet was a potboiler d'occasion.) It's all so fresh. This was Hayden's farewell showcase and she's in form. The guy - who is he? - he's okay, too. LOL I remember you in La Source and lots more. These "cuttings" just made my day!
