This KU team gives major 2021 Nebraska vibes. That team was called "the best 3-9 team in college football history". Both teams have outscored their opponents on the season (overall for that NU team and so far for this KU team) and all their losses have been by single-digit margins except an 11-point loss by KU to TCU.

Nearly every loss has come down to Daniel’s int’s, fumbles and Arnold’s Jekyll and Hyde hands. These two players, as good as they are, have been the number one reason for every single loss. Daniel’s must have either tiny hands or zero upper body strength because dude cannot hold onto a football on contact. He could stand some personal training from Kareem Hunt on how to secure a football. I got nothing for Arnold for why he seemingly drops the biggest clutch, not overly difficult passes. He could take lessons from Grimm.

Should have been intentional grounding. They’d have been attempting a 61 yard field goal instead of a 52 yarder. There was not a receiver in the area.

One thing I'd like to see improved: At around the 8 minute mark, there was a big run by KSU and they're close to the red zone, but the very next play, there's no score change and Kansas has the ball and throws a big pass play. I would have liked to see what happened after the big KSU run that resulted in no points.
#77 LT of KU was getting away with absolutely murder (holding) all night long. Not sure how the ref didn't see it when the KSU DE was literally throwing his hands up trying to un release multiple times all throughout the night. The one thing both of these teams did this past season was beat Colorado. That is Coach Prime's team. Kansas State beat Colorado 31-28. Kansas beat Colorado 37-21.
Most of kstates talent is underclassmen whereas KU graduates somerhing like 30 seniors and they don't seem to have much depth. If they were going to end the streak they should have done it today, as it might be a while now.

I screamed so loudly on the fourth down stop my throat was throbbing and i couldn't play right after that. Perhaps it’s just me…but the OC for KSU has Avery throwing too much for a QB with that low of a completion percentage. Especially since they have what could be one of the best running games in the country, with Avery, Giddons, and Edwards. The OC should be controlling the game with the RUN, and having Avery throw only enough to keep the D honest.

K-State is a good football program and they're tough to beat on their field. Their QB is outstanding and they've got quite a bit of depth at every position. But they were lucky to win that game tonight. The difference in the score was the safety from the 1st half. Next year the game will be a home game for KU, possibly in their new,/rebuilt stadium and this stupidity can come to fitting end. Bitter frustration doesn't even begin to describe the feeling KU fans are dealing with right now. In every one of their 6-losses they had a 4th quarter lead and couldn't hold it. And the idea of getting back at K-State on the hardwood is weak consolation and doesn't come close to salving the wound. Only a thorough shellacking of K-State by KU on the gridiron (the way they did back when I went to KU in the 70's, KU used to regularly destroy K-State back then) will suffice. Lifelong Jayhawk fan and always will be. Congratulations to K-State for the win.

In the decade of the 1960's, KU won 8 out of the 10 games played with 1-tie. In the 1970's KU beat K-State 8 out of 10 times with several blowouts. I was in attendance for some of those. In the 1980's each team was 5-5. Admittedly, KU's football program in some of the years you mentioned was somewhat unstable and one never knew from year to year what to expect. I don't have the exact scores in front of me but I do have some very fond recollections of KU's football teams beating K-State, whether it be in Lawrence or Manhattan. Right now K-State has certainly had the upper hand but we are resolute in seeing that change and soon. Should've happened on Saturday. All part of a very frustrating season for KU fans.

I know a lot of KU fans are not happy with the Grimes hire at OC, but I think he's done a better job utilizing the talent on KUs offense than Kstates new OC Conner Riley has with our talent.
If we tackle the way we did against KU and WVU we won't get out of Ames with a W. We had an opportunity on multiple 3rd down plays to stop them and we didn't . The first drive of the game we had 2 or 3 third downs that could have ended the drive and we can't get off of the field. We are struggling against QB run game heavily right now. Daniels to his credit made some really nice throws and I didn't really see dudes running wide open except for the second drive which that kid should have caught a TD for KU and one other one. To be honest we might not get out of Houston with a W playing like that. They just beat Utah

Daniels to his credit made some really nice throws and I didn't really see dudes running wide open except for the second drive which that kid should have caught a TD for KU and one other one.
