Thatcher, AIDS, famine on a scale we never see today ... time to take those rose tinted glasses off. The world has never been better than it is right now.
I don't know if you agree, but for me, Seal is one of those rare individuals who seem to transcend their human form. His energy and charisma is bordering on being God-like. It's as though his true entity shines so brightly that you don't even see his race or skin colour. We can only hope one day we can evolve to see each other in that way.
One of my favorite singer since his beginning (with Trevor)...thank you for sharing all these beautiful videos of 20 years ago, how many remembrance of that time
Epic.....I remember waaaaaayyyyyyyy back on top of the pops when he sang this back in the shadows for the 1st time on tv with (of course) Adamski.......and we were all asking at school the next day “ who the hell was that guy on top of the pops last night”........sheer talent.......
😂😂😂 erm excuse me 😂😂😂 I was in that crowd and was too busy singing along 😂😂😂 if you watch the whole concert, you will see that there was an AMAZING vibe the whole night!

„Killer“ is written by Adamski and Seal. Adamski recorded the song first as an instrumental. He looked for a singer to sing the song for this instrumental. The singer he hired was Sealhenry Samuels, who later became famous as Seal, although he was not credited on the single. The problem was that everyone asked for the singer too. Adamski once said in an interview: "I met Seal in a club where he approached me and told me he was a singer. When I heard what he was talking about, I thought he was brilliant, so I became friends with him. Seal wrote the lyrics to the song and then recorded it in one take." The only mention of the word "killer" comes early in the song when Seal says, "It's the loneliness that's the killer." He goes on to sing about making a connection through love, addressing the solitary brothers and sisters who are closed off.
Seals's singing is impeccable, but as much as I like Trevor Horn, I don't like his arrangement. Adamski's original has a techno-dystopian edge to it that I miss here.
Saw Adamski at Brighton Storm then Adamski & Seal at Brighton Centre. Shamen, Guru Josh, EMF- probably footage out there of me dancing around like a complete tit
Seal's talent and charism is off the scale. What a performance!
Wish we could go back in time to the 80s and 90s when the world was a better place 😢
Thatcher, AIDS, famine on a scale we never see today ... time to take those rose tinted glasses off. The world has never been better than it is right now.
When humans used to make music
more racism though :/
Actually the 80s and 90s were just as difficult as now you just didn’t know any better.
Lo era...

Wow...Trevor Horn has a channel. I saw him with Asia back in the 80's. Cool!
Trevor never had anything to do with Asia. I think you're confusing him with Geoff Downes.

I remember this as an Adamski tune Seal was the vocals, where’s the Mandy original?
Where's Adamski?
Adamski version is much better then epic Horn interpretation. Still.

should've mentioned adamski though
I know
well at least the band had fun, someone wakeup the audience....... unbelievable.

Too True.
Original was Brooding, Moody, Dangerous.
