      @@choochcutz mah man! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Tried this technique tonight with my cuts and I can honestly say, this technique is TOTAL GAME CHANGER! I cant believe how much easier it is to fade now. Fades came out blurrier and it’s crazy how I didn’t even have to use the 1 guard. The key thing is to be light handed, use half the blade or the corners, and flick out. That’s it! I will never go back to my old fading ways. Thank you again. 🤙🏾🙏🏽🙌🏽💈

    Heya, I’m someone who learned to cut my own hair (and my sons) from COVID lock down when we were desperate.
    I cut out hairs every 3 weeks.. so it’s a slow learning curve..
    I do decent now days but i can never master it, especially my own head due to limitations.
    Anyhow I love your technique, it’s amazing… however i notice it’s a very compressed version… I’m thinking, is there a way to incorporate a no#1 guard (to stretch it out further) ? If so, how would you do it?

    • @louisgeissbuehler5353
      @louisgeissbuehler5353 7 місяців тому

      i would do debulk with 2guard and clipper over comb then bald line, lever open first guideline 1guard second guideline and with the 2 guard the last then you see 3 guidelines and o good overview over your fade

    • @louisgeissbuehler5353
      @louisgeissbuehler5353 7 місяців тому

      thats how i do it

    • @eeiko321
      @eeiko321 7 місяців тому

      @@louisgeissbuehler5353yeah over the past 3 years I’ve been trialing a lot of methods from UA-camrs … martyBlenz, 360jeezy, southbaychris, Chris Bossio etc etc.
      The thing for me is; Whether it’s due to lighting limitations and the 3-fold mirrors… I find it hard to see such lines on my own head in the mirror.
      I did a fade last night on my own hair again and not totally happy with it… way too compressed looking… needs to be more blurry imo.
      I’m considering skipping the no guard (then closed) open as a separate step and perhaps incorporate it as another flick out (guard open, then half and closed) near the end.
      I’m thinking that may make things easier..
      My biggest issue I find is that on my hair type/skin I can’t see 1 guard and no guard properly.
