- Опубліковано 14 чер 2024
- We will be doing our first ever livestream of the Iceland volcano using a drone. This will be day 17 of the eruption which began at approximately 12:45pm local time on May 29, 2024 when a new fissure opened up in the Sundhnúk crater row. This eruption has so far covered over 9sq km and has released over 40 million cubic meters of lava onto the moss-covered plains of the Reykjanes Peninsula.

Hello! I missed it live...was during family dinner. Great fun on replay. Thanks for the flight!
This was the COOLEST thing. @afarTV, please do MORE like this!
Simply wow
Those lava pools being pushed are like lake affect snow in the Great Lakes in North America. Eventually it piles up and goes over the edge.
Do you mean ice when it breaks up come springtime? I live a few hours away from those lakes, and I've witnessed it. It's not snow.
Great pictures, thank you for sharing ❤
Set the world afire would be a great song for watching these volcanic fissures videos.
Great drone footage and background music. Thanks
so cool to see the lake from above!
Good job!
At 45:04 the lava tube that comes down from the pond can be seen - the red glow in the right bottom corner of the screen. At that spot there is also a smooth lava patch that can be seen at 44:01. A few days ago the lava tube ripped open there. For that reason there is no visible flow from the pond to this spot as there was none.
Just wild
Afartv, how are things?, outstanding ~catch you later-)
Wow! 🌋
superlatives are not enough but thank you for this footage
It just shows there's a hell of a lot, going on under the surface, it's building a mountain.
Wow just wow. Go to hour Mark 1:22:29. This is wild
dammit i totaly missed it! reminder was set but didn’t go off 😢
Wau 😳👍👍👍👍👍
Hi from 🏴
Is it possible to shoot a small rocket into the side to release pressure and drain it to a more favorable direction?
The problem is, you're looking at military grade explosives to do that job and I can't see Icelanders agreeing to that. If you look at the area this activity is covering ,this is going to go on until a mountain is made.
The music is so loud can’t hear you
👋🏼
Like a lake of fire from Holy Bible...
Music ruins it.
