Cleanest city in Europe and what a great public transportation system! So many people but the streets are never overcrowded. Very well-designed city and electric scooters and bikes everywhere! 80 years ago the city was leveled to ground after ww2. This shows the great rapid growth and economical strength of Poland after war. Not only Warsaw but Poznan, Krakow and Lodz

@Travel Walk i am living in UK near Edinburgh but I am coming from Lodz in Poland. A lot have changed since I moved out and wish to see my city again.

My widow mom loves Poland too. We will try our luck this September to enroll myself in a tech university in Warsaw.

But first of all, in history, Poland back to the Commonwealth of Polish-Lithuania was a multi-cultural and multi-religious country. Orthodox, Catholics, Jews, Protestants and even Muslims lived together in the country. They fought together on the battlefields, very often with servants of the Papal State (Teutonic Knights). Also, the Polish Kingdom helped Hussits in their brake up with the church. Catholicism in Poland developed during communism because of gathering polish resistance around the church and because of John Paul II. Today Poland is somewhat catholic. Many people believe in god, but many do not. But what is very important, most people who believe, are disgusted of church that hurt so many people. Poland is a European country with all prons and cons of it, it's more catholic, but not so much actually. And what is very important, more and more people is getting out of church. If you search for a stronghold of Cristianity... Poland may dissapoint you.

A real christian is new born in spirit, not catholic.
