Learned a new concept and related phrase after reading two books about slowing down and living life more fully and faithfully with the Lord (that I thought of when Stephanie said "peace, grace, and order" were her benefits of taking on her new prayer life). It's called "Sabbath rest", which put simply is a state of mind and heart that the Lord wants to flow from us along with Him through each of our days and not just on Sundays (the Sabbath). It's reminded me that I've been struggling to maintain that peace for decades, and still do when other people aren't on board with that mind an heart-set around me. Slow and steady is sooooo much better than the alternatives, because then we can better be living prayer in action!
I readily identified with Stephanie's story of not enough time as well as difficulty getting up early for prayer. I was never a morning person. As a nurse who worked rotating shifts, I aways felt sleep deprived. I decided I might always feel tired when I awake and that it was okay because I get to spend time hearing the Lord's words.❤🙏

I can't believe I never realized how much of a "Martha Mom" I tend to be 🙈😂 Just spent some quiet time in focused prayer at home for the first time in a while. Super motivated. Thank you.
I think that some people believe in God, but when they pray, it doesn't go their way and they give up or just become indifferent. I've gotten better about making time for prayer. I'm working on how God wants me to pray, to pray for what He wants. Prayers and family in pen. Amen. Praying for my husband and family to pray more. And that my husband and I will pray more together

We can offer up our tiredness and suffering for the conversion of souls too and God always uses that
