Most players don't play the new agents unless they're overpowered, the game doesn't change much if just a new map is added, it's a good change but it's only temporary relief from the game starting to feel stale for the casual playerbase. most players don't use the outlaw either, it's a minor addition at best. most players don't really care much about the balance changes, unless they play the game very competitively. but that's the minority. chamber's Teleport radius increasing is cool but even chamber mains are probably over it already, the game needs more than that to stay fresh. TDM might possibly be the best thing they have added in the past 3+ years, but they aren't even fixing the long loading times... (any players who have a slow connection or a low end pc basically hold up the entire lobby, nobody loads in until that final person loads in, which is a terrible system and they know it, there's no reason to keep everyone in the loading screen)
"expansion to new playable experiences" imagine that means modding, ppl can make their own agents and host servers for others to join, make custom maps or minigames or whatever i really doubt it, but just imagine if they really do it

Consider getting a new cpu. Not trying to be rude, but we knew this would happen. Its not their fault people own old cpu-s. Since the beginning of this game the graphics have evolved quite a bit. And it will keep evolving. Like every other successful game ran by a successful company that needs to, at some interval of time, do something new. Adding maps, adding characters, guns etc, and changing the whole look of the game of course. Its normal. In our eyes nothihng needs to be changed cause we like it like it is and we are used to it. But this still happens and they don't think about a percentage of players having low specs
But don't be so afraid of UE5 anyways. I don't think Riot will drastically change the graphics so much that you will lose more than 15% of your current fps. They test the new updates on a lot of specs.
UE5 is inherently more optimized i highly doubt valorant will add volumetric smokes + water physics, thats what actually killed the fps if anything they'll just make high graphics look fantastic and low graphics will just look the same as before (my guess at least)

the main difference in engines aren’t anything to do with optimization its mostly lightning systems and more realistic simulation with like particles and debris stuff like that so if they arent changing the graphics they must be adding destruction
Yes i think they are adding destruction as well, in the console trailer a couple months back they show a wall getting destroyed by bullets and cypher shooting through the whole in the wall.
It will actually let Riot push the boundaries of the game. UE5 makes dev pipelines much faster actually. Also they are hiring a bunch of engineers to modify the engine so that does make me curious what they are trying to do
Migrating ue4 to 5 takes a lot of effort, from migrating assets and textures to updating collisions, that might cause many glitches on the map or game. Plus a challenge of being in a live server.
There has to be a campaign because they probs used the basic training cut scene to test what they can do for the cut scenes and the lore has been building up for years so I’m sure we will get a campaign sooner or later

I'd imagine a singleplayer val campaign where it takes advantage of the weapon mechanic system and keep it the same and make the levels based on skill kinda like superhot but as as hard
they wouldnt go w something like that all that is is a graphics test in unreal someone slapped together it looks good but none of the textures are stylised at all what they where trying to show mainly was teh depth of the textures the rocks looked like the yhad a rough surface too them alot better than current valo so whats most likely to change is very minor door textures and stuff nothing anywhere near as sharp as that test
I would imagine it to be something like this.. Maps would change as new agents are released..Like if based from the story, some parts of Ascent is wrecked, players would feel the story of the game Environment would be breakable and playable areas would be affected as well as the round goes on..

Apparently, it was about another project, and with the requirement for the job, he theorized it was about a potential Valorant MMORPG. I feel like it suits the speech you've shown in this video, and maybe that could be an insane project like this!
Could be more effects on agent abilities to make them look cooler. Also would be cool if there was a cutscene for agent ultimates. We could also get some agent skins like we have in Overwatch.
I think theyre going to add a workshop like we have in cs. It will be a great expansion in my opinion because tbh how many of us are interested in a story mode for example, we will just play once maybe and forget about it a week later

I have an few creative ideas as to what they COULD add to the game. (I definitely don't have insider information) 1: Valorant: MOBA Edition - Two worlds collide, but both have the same idea! Stop the enemy from stealing your Radianite by getting past their Sentinels and Defusing their Spike, all while defending your own! 2: Valorant: Battle Royal - Multiple worlds collide! Be the last one standing so the portal can teleport you safely back home! 3: Valorant: Replay System - Please 4: Valorant: Other-World Survival - The portal to the other world malfunctioned and dropped us in the Fracture aftermath with no way out. We gotta find a way to rebuild our tech and survive while fending off dangerous Radivors! 5: Valorant: Waves - Basically COD Zombies but with Radivors or something.

I cant give definite sources but a few months ago, Riot has sent limited emails of a survey asking for feedback on its current games. On this surveys, one of the questions that keeps popping on the survey is about MMO stuffs. Then a few weeks later, some people noticed Riot is looking and hiring for people that has experience in specifically FPS, MMO Economy and 3D Modeling (of weapons and stuffs) for R&D. Fast forward and Necrit posted a video about this, and then people has been speculating an MMOFPS based from the Valorant universe. It is most likely true given how scarce MMOFPS currently in the market e.g Destiny 2 has been awful and on the downfall lately and Warframe not really an fps but has MMO stuffs and is still very strong to this day. tldr. a Destiny like game based on the Valorant Universe MMOFPS.
I hope they don't do most of these. Honestly most of these would be better off as a completely separate game entirely. Outside of the Valorant launcher I mean. Kinda like how 2xko is in the LoL IP but different launchers. Edit: MOBA Val could work as what is referred to as a top down shooter. This would probably be a new game though and not in the launcher due to how massive the change would be. Also I do really like the Radivore gamemode idea. For a Halloween update that would be cool

What if they let us play story events that have already happened in the story/cinematics, solo or in co-op? For example, the scene where Omen finds out about Viper, or the moment when Jett helped the Radiants save Pearl with her abilities - or something like that. Maybe even some "filler" events hinting at new agents? Or they could really think big (though it would take a lot of time before we’d see it) and build a story that you can play with up to five players, where you can change the outcome of some events in a way that creates a parallel universe in which some agents even get different abilities. Or you could design your own agent, like Jett, but with a dash, a heal, a wall, and her old ultimate. That would be really fun! That would truly be something that could be amazing! Some more "simple" things would be skins and finishers (but I don’t think they've reached UE4’s limit yet), or a "zombie" mode or something similar, where you can get exclusive collectibles like skins, player cards, buddies, or similar items. AND PLEASE GIVE US THE MVP ANIMATIONS ON PC, RIOT!! >:c
Instead single why not 5 man mission coop style like raiding a enemy camp/base, gonna put you to truly test communicate teamwork eachother rather than a bot ingame😊👍, the enemy ai bots gonna be real ai difficulty ingame fight 😂✌️
People enjoyed the new valorant toutorial more because it felt like a mission rather than a practice match. Within the next few acts theyll be adding bot matches, they have been polished in alpha servers and are all but ready to go, but i feel like something else theyll be adding is mission focused gamemodes. No idea how that would work but something like bf5 or csgo retakes-esque, a short mission to complete for rewards and there may be some story driven content to it as well.
I think we might have a valorant campaign or story mode Where much like call of duty, we would get valorant lore based fights. Possibly even agent kits that would reflect the more lore accurate versions
i hope three things 1- its not bad like the cs2 one, which killed the game completely, killed movement killed shooting, everything basicly 2- fix the shadow bugs on first person specially, cuz they been there for long time 3- add replay system

Valorant is only riot's own assets, unreal 5 is going to help for game, mechanics, developpement, for new agents probably, all the dimensional stuff etc, but not going to change anything graphically by default, since it's all custom tailored by riot
more playable experiences sound more like maybe custom maps or if not that custom public community servers or something like that to me. maybe they bring back replication too idk

This is far from true. EU5 has the ability to display much higher resolution and support things like raytacing, however you dont NEED to. Valorant is stylized, and will not be chaning nor will become "realistic". On top of this, it will realistically improve preformance. UE5 can render things quicker and more efficiently and realistically can now handle valorant much better. this is gonna benefit more than hurt, unless riot does a total 180 with the game.

Could be more effects on agent abilities to make them look cooler. Also would be cool if there was a cutscene for agent ultimates. We could also get some agent skins like we have in Overwatch.

I think theyre going to add a workshop like we have in cs. It will be a great expansion in my opinion because tbh how many of us are interested in a story mode for example, we will just play once maybe and forget about it a week later

Unfortunately I think they will just make a new game more likely for a full Valorant Campaign. Valorant's gameplay is just not designed for PvE sadly
They've already hinted at Val Universe being the new MMO universe in first person. So they could be hinting at that with all the PvE thoughts.

I have an few creative ideas as to what they COULD add to the game. (I definitely don't have insider information)
1: Valorant: MOBA Edition - Two worlds collide, but both have the same idea! Stop the enemy from stealing your Radianite by getting past their Sentinels and Defusing their Spike, all while defending your own!
2: Valorant: Battle Royal - Multiple worlds collide! Be the last one standing so the portal can teleport you safely back home!
3: Valorant: Replay System - Please
4: Valorant: Other-World Survival - The portal to the other world malfunctioned and dropped us in the Fracture aftermath with no way out. We gotta find a way to rebuild our tech and survive while fending off dangerous Radivors!
5: Valorant: Waves - Basically COD Zombies but with Radivors or something.
Wish riot actually gave a fvck and saw comments like this. Ik this might be hard, but for a studio that big I believe they can launch such gamemodes. Good ideas buddy
I cant give definite sources but a few months ago, Riot has sent limited emails of a survey asking for feedback on its current games. On this surveys, one of the questions that keeps popping on the survey is about MMO stuffs. Then a few weeks later, some people noticed Riot is looking and hiring for people that has experience in specifically FPS, MMO Economy and 3D Modeling (of weapons and stuffs) for R&D.
Fast forward and Necrit posted a video about this, and then people has been speculating an MMOFPS based from the Valorant universe. It is most likely true given how scarce MMOFPS currently in the market e.g Destiny 2 has been awful and on the downfall lately and Warframe not really an fps but has MMO stuffs and is still very strong to this day.
tldr. a Destiny like game based on the Valorant Universe MMOFPS.
I hope they don't do most of these. Honestly most of these would be better off as a completely separate game entirely. Outside of the Valorant launcher I mean. Kinda like how 2xko is in the LoL IP but different launchers.
Edit: MOBA Val could work as what is referred to as a top down shooter. This would probably be a new game though and not in the launcher due to how massive the change would be. Also I do really like the Radivore gamemode idea. For a Halloween update that would be cool

What if they let us play story events that have already happened in the story/cinematics, solo or in co-op? For example, the scene where Omen finds out about Viper, or the moment when Jett helped the Radiants save Pearl with her abilities - or something like that. Maybe even some "filler" events hinting at new agents? Or they could really think big (though it would take a lot of time before we’d see it) and build a story that you can play with up to five players, where you can change the outcome of some events in a way that creates a parallel universe in which some agents even get different abilities. Or you could design your own agent, like Jett, but with a dash, a heal, a wall, and her old ultimate. That would be really fun! That would truly be something that could be amazing!
Some more "simple" things would be skins and finishers (but I don’t think they've reached UE4’s limit yet), or a "zombie" mode or something similar, where you can get exclusive collectibles like skins, player cards, buddies, or similar items.
AND PLEASE GIVE US THE MVP ANIMATIONS ON PC, RIOT!! >:c

I think a valorant campaign/single player game mode would be very fitting for the game and its storyline that’s kinda just sitting in the background.
Instead single why not 5 man mission coop style like raiding a enemy camp/base, gonna put you to truly test communicate teamwork eachother rather than a bot ingame😊👍, the enemy ai bots gonna be real ai difficulty ingame fight 😂✌️
People enjoyed the new valorant toutorial more because it felt like a mission rather than a practice match. Within the next few acts theyll be adding bot matches, they have been polished in alpha servers and are all but ready to go, but i feel like something else theyll be adding is mission focused gamemodes. No idea how that would work but something like bf5 or csgo retakes-esque, a short mission to complete for rewards and there may be some story driven content to it as well.

Where much like call of duty, we would get valorant lore based fights. Possibly even agent kits that would reflect the more lore accurate versions
i hope three things
1- its not bad like the cs2 one, which killed the game completely, killed movement killed shooting, everything basicly
2- fix the shadow bugs on first person specially, cuz they been there for long time
3- add replay system
this is way better than a replay system in my opinion
lets all just face it, the primary reason why there is such a huge player base is because of the low system requirement the game asks for, strip that away nearly half of the player base will vanish, LITERALLY.
I honestly think we might be getting a story mode. We keep on getting lore videos and it would be a shame if riot didnt use it to make an story mode with custscenes or maybe a show like arcane in the future

they will add a night time valorant map where you can turn on or turn off lights in certain rooms.
Valorant is only riot's own assets, unreal 5 is going to help for game, mechanics, developpement, for new agents probably, all the dimensional stuff etc, but not going to change anything graphically by default, since it's all custom tailored by riot
prob a game and map design changes just like how they changed the the lobby for when you are picking characters. and maybe cross platform.
I'm hoping new gamemodes with exclusive maps like TDM. I wouldn't mind a capture gamemode tbh

Riot should make it so that you can play as the mirrored version of the agents in a story mode and see their story

This is far from true.
EU5 has the ability to display much higher resolution and support things like raytacing, however you dont NEED to. Valorant is stylized, and will not be chaning nor will become "realistic". On top of this, it will realistically improve preformance. UE5 can render things quicker and more efficiently and realistically can now handle valorant much better. this is gonna benefit more than hurt, unless riot does a total 180 with the game.
At this point we'll probably get GTA 6 before Valorant's replay system
