Hey, with the Sirui 50mm Anamorphic 1.8 MFT, what crop does it end up being? How would it compare to a regular 50mm lens on the P4K?

Hi Roman! I watched all your videos with the Sirui lens, they’re absolutely stunning. I bought one (thank you for sharing the link in your description!) and wanted to ask you- I am filming a web series this weekend using the sirui 50mm and bmpcc4k, is there anything that you do on the settings of the camera for this lens before you’re filming? It’s my first time shooting with an anamorphic and I just want to make sure I’m doing it right as I see the image elongated on my screen on the camera. Thank you so much, Roman!

hey! great, thanks! :) stretched image is ok, i'm used to it ;) i don't use anamorphic mode to keep 4k width but this way you get widescreen image about 4096x1617px. if it is important for you to keep the standard aspect ratio like 3:2 then you need to use anamorphic mode but this way you will get the maximum resolution of 2k.

Do you shoot at native 400 iso or do you jump around. Also how do you expose your shots? Great work

I always use 400, 1250 and 3200 depending on the lighting. I loaded the LUT S21 cine cool into the camera and adjust the exposure immediately for this LUT. for exposure control I use zebra 95 and make sure there are no zebra stripes, if I see stripes I twist the ND Filter.

Hi! Perhaps you exposed your video without LUT or the lighting was too bright. for the result to be immediately good, I advise you to load a LUT (for example s21 cine cool) into the camera and expose immediately with this LUT.

I doubt it. you will most likely need to adjust temperature, exposure and contrast…

What WB value did you have on the camera?

usually 5000-5600k and Tint 0-10. depending on the time of day and lighting. for example, at night Tint -3/0, on a cloudy day 5/10, indoors I sometimes use 3600-4000k. Tint is often corrected in the post.

Привет! Спасибо! Приятно слышать! :) Наверное привычка, в премьере кажется проще монтировать а крашу всеравно с ЛУТами просто, к тому же есть поддержа braw. Давинчи я думаю именно для колористов, кто этим профессионально занимается.

И то, что у вас получается в результате - прекрасно и это многих вдохновляет. А уж премьер или резолв - дело привычки, "главное чтобы костюмчик сидел")... хотя мне тоже немного удивительно было узнать, что вы не в резолве работаете.
