Where are Jakespeare's old BFX episodes? Didn't Jake have a patreon for Indy mogul and was working on it while Erik was the host for a while? This all happened a year or two ago, and there are some information about the old BFX episodes on Facebook and Twitter still.

The OP is correct. If you want a decent experience that won't put you off the hobby, then this isn't the drone to buy. These are cheap, useless junk. If you want a camera drone, save the money and buy a DJI. If you want to really fly, get into building your own models and start learning. There are two sides to this hobby. Pilots and camera operators. You choose.

I’ve worked with this drone, and I decided to take out the WiFi camera. Once the camera system was out the drone worked like it was really worth the $50. This is because both the WiFi camera and the remote run on 2.4ghz causing constant interference between the two making it harder to work with all components together.

With my P8 mini drone it took some time fussing around with the Camera App, but it now drone camera easily connects to my Android and everything works fine. the Flight Trim can more easily be adjusted when on the ground, just activate the Trim button and tap the Right stick in the direction you want the drone to lean to. If it's flying away forward, just tap the right stick back a couple of beeps, wait three seconds and hear an A-OK beep and fly. If you need more adjustment, just repeat the process, but land it first. Images and video are automatically saved to Android.

Regarding the few comments that say that this isn’t a fair comparison since they’re at each polar extreme, I think this video still does a good job at providing information to newcomers.
There are probably a lot of people just entering the filmmaking hobby/profession and they might tell themselves “I’ll just get the cheap one for now and get the more expensive one when I can afford it”. It will probably be counterproductive to do so since the flying ability of the cheap one won’t be as good as the more expensive one, not to mention the quality of video, as was said in the video. Basically the “experience” someone might tell themselves they’ll get by going with the cheap one at first ultimately won’t be worth it.
Either way, these past two videos have been great and I’m really enjoying the rebranding!

If this video is monetized and you flew under recreational flying… then you can get in huge trouble and face a bunch of fines and possibly jail time.

Due to my further research the price plummeted down with regard to fields like like pixels in the camera, (The Knockoff apparently has 3 thousand while the Mavic Pro has 12 million), Plus the drone is less than the weight of an Orange so I don't think anyone can take you seriously if you are pro and using this drone,

Try an Eachine EX5, about $150 in Canada. Very jumpy frame rate video with fair enough image quality. It has GPS, brushless motors and it is really easy to fly ~ it hasn't fallen out of the air yet. It is just good enough to make me want a little more. There is no gimbal and no onboard micro SD recording but you can adjust the camera up and down remotely. Now if only the video was smoother.

...but the fact that you can get basically the same drone for 50$ is great, especially if you're flying just for fun.

Totally entertaining comparison! In a way this shares a lot of useful info about the Mavic 2 Pro and why the price is worth it!

A casual user might not think the extra $$$ is worth it when compared to a $300 drone. Depends on what you want from your drone. Vanity plays a large part in people buying the $1000 drone over the $300 one.
