The funny thing is you can still find videos of Justin playing in KoF13 tournaments today. So he's only now just going through trials of a game that he was already good enough to be a top player in.
Ah, Justin is wisening up to our way of doing things. If you ain't charging downback while comboing, you're doing it wrong. Hell, if you ain't charging down while dashing or running, you're doing it wrong. Never. Ever. Stop. Charging.
The damage wasn't the real problem. It had startup invincibility, only took 16 seconds to charge, could combo mid screen and was fast enough to combo off of GCCD (so for 1 bar any blockstring could = instant death). It was crazy free.
Would you say its worth picking up right now? I am looking for a fighting game that's worth putting time in. Also im on Series X, idek if KOF is on xbox lol

@@brezilianpope This game is very good and it's very rewarding however, the netcode is delayed-based so the connections are spotty. Lol. The button configuration is wrong that's it was so hard to do. They have to be configured in a neo geo order. A.B.C.D. on the four buttons on the top, that way one finger is on each button.

If someone is "supposed" to have their button layout a certain way.....then why is it customizable?!?!???!!!??!?? Riddle me that Mr. NeoGeo "each finger is on a button" hahahahahahahaha
Well, the default kick buttons for KOF are two vertical ones on the right so it is much easier on the fingers to hold'em while doing the punch moves. The drop kick combos were OP AF in vanilla version so it is a must have, but Raiden is pretty bad after the nerf.
The button holds are way easier if you use proper SNK rainbow button layout IMHO. Also makes roll/Blowback/HD input make more sense. Especially ones with multiple kick hold specials are easier with the rainbow.

It's a double light punch confirm into super that's quite generous with its timing. You can actually just do cLP into halfcircle forward LP since Raiden doesn't have a special to overlap it, and if you see it hit, simply do another halfcircle forward LP and the super comes out. Granted, I am on an arcade stick, so I'll probably have an easier time spinning out half circles than, say, a pad player.
