Makes my heart happy. When I was a kid in the late 80’s and 90’s, my travel agent uncle would take my sisters and cousins there every summer. They use to have a lot more sea lions there.

Hey you making me hungry!! If you guys ever head down to SD again, take the 15 south and get off at the 76 offramp. Just down the street from the off ramp Mobile station is an amazing burger place called Nessy Burgers. Place is hugely popular with the locals. Dogs, fries, rings and the NESSY BURGER! It's a few blocks from my son-in-law, the guy with the "Big The Foot" t-shirt at Tortilla Joes you met at DTD. Love you guys! Thanks for all the fun. And calories??!!

I got excited when you mentioned New Mexico. I am from a small town an hour south of Albuquerque. Love watching your videos. My daughters are like, hey dad will we get to meet them when we go to Disneyland :) We had a trip booked in early May :( Anyway, thank you all for the videos! Stayed there about 15 years ago. amazing place with the private bay beach right outside our room. The room smelled like Grandmas basement though. I’m sure they’ve updated the rooms now.

Great video. We stayed at the Bahia in the 1970s and it looks exactly the same. We did go on one of those Mark Twain type boats but back then it was called the Bahia Bell.
If you guys decide to go another staycation you should head up to Cambria and get a room on moonstone. Lots and lots of the hotels are animal friendly and it’s a whole different beach vibe. I’m trying to talk to the old man in going up over his birthday next week.
You have to take a tour of the USS Midway well you are visiting San Diego. It's probably closed though during this time. Another awesome spot to visit is Point Loma. Enjoy the trip. You guys deserve it.

Mission bay is beautiful, have you two ever been to Hotel Coronado? It's so gorgeous and historic. My number one place to stay the last 30 years (since I was 4) my parents took me and now I take my kids is to Morro Bay. Morro Bay is so lovely, its stuck in time with its quaint streets, beautiful scenery, nice people and fun things to do. Take care guys and be safe.
I wish the sister coaster to the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk was open. It was also built by Author Loof with a Prior and Church design, but a year or two later than Santa Cruz.

Since you love donuts I highly recommend Donut Bar on B Street Downtown. They closed the one in Orange County. The fresh strawberry one is yummy.
