- My favorite year of all the 411 Video Magazine Europe videos. This was the year Tom Penny left the states and disappeared into Europe for 4-5 years. From the box: Filmed throughout July 1996, Europe 1996 covers the amazing skateboarding, extensive traveling, beautiful scenery, and general mayhem that make up the European Pro Tour. The featured contests are the Radlands British Open Championship in Northampton, England, and the Puma Grand Prix of Skateboarding in Lausanne, Switzerland. Includes footage of Skatecamp in Practice, Czechoslovakia, and Demos in Amsterdam, Holland, and Munster Germany. From Big Ben to Lake Geneva, you're along for the ride, Enjoy Europe 1996. Featuring Tom Penny, Ronnie Creager, Kareem Campbell, Chris Senn, Eric Koston, Andrew Reynolds, Caine Gayle, Tony Hawk, Carl Shipman, Geoff Rowley, Rick Howard, Mike Carroll, Ed Templeton, Willy Santos, Andy Scott, Keith Hufnagel, Fred Gall, Rick McCrank, Tim Brauch, Steve Olson (the Shortys one), Donny Barley, Rune Glifberg, Bob Burnquist, Mark Gonzales, Steve Berra, Andy McDonald (Kelly Hart look alike), and many more
Tom Penny, what a legend.
For real!
I grew up watching this vídeo, in Brazil was very difficultt to get these videos... usually was a copy from the copy from the copy from someone's tape. Golden times
Tom Penny - session by mini ramp - the best
Absolutely!
Brings back so many memories Sophomore Highschool 96
We stood at the snakerun in Münster and this one guy, never seen him before or heard of him, blew the spot! Rick McCranck, thx! (Everybody ripped, yeah!)
I still miss the vibe we had here in Europe, espc. Münster.
Greetz to all the people, who lived this time and all the buddy, who left to early!
So rad
This video is my whole childhood
Seriously thanks for uploading this, it really reminds me of when life was simple and good

Dalton Morgan no problem man! My favorite of all the Europe 411s
demn, how this depresses me. seen this a couple hundred times, growin up as a skater in a small eastern german town. so many undescribable and inpalpable associations and memories hangin onto these pictures. being sixteen and conquering my little world while the people around me were still wakin up in that bad dream called capitalism. oh, skateboarding.
Thanks for posting --- Tom killing those mini ramps! Overall a great vid... so much nostalgia for the "early" modern street skating era that the 90s was---
Yeah man, He killed it in this video! The king!
Such a video, Thanks for load it, you are an angel!
Yeah buddy!
This rip is a lot better than the one I posted up! Good job!
Man I watched that other one so many times. For some reason it was hard for me to find when I was searching for it 6 or so moths ago.

Great question
Look for "Rad 2001 Profile Harry Bastard" here on yt. Just guessing because time and locality would fit and i got no other Harry to offer ;-)
