- How I make homemade mayo as a Naturopathic Doctor with only 5 ingredients: Here's what you'll need - Avocado Oil, Apple Cider Vinegar (your choice of salt), Salt (I like Redmond Sea Salt), One Whole Egg (ideally pasteurized), and Mustard.
What we're going to do is crack one egg into a cup, then add:
- 1/4 cup of Avocado Oil
- Two teaspoons of Apple Cider Vinegar
- Half a teaspoon of Mustard
- Follow that with half a teaspoon of Redmond Sea Salt.
From there, what we're going to do is whisk it for about 1 minute or so until it gets nice and creamy. You can see we have perfect consistency!

I've been making my own mayo for years using, avocado oil, room temp eggs, room temp dijon mustard, lemon juice, and celtic salt, garlic powder, and trader Joe's 21 seasoning. Simply delicious!
I would put the egg in after the oil so you can more easily measure 1/4 oil.
I'm sure you can use dry mustard if you're afraid of wet mustard in a plastic bottle. It would also keep the liquid level down so the mayo result is thicker. Fresh lemon juice is a good substitute for vinegar.
❤Awesome
Perfect definitely will try!
Can you please share your knowledge about using peptide?
can u do a healthy vegan ranch
how long would this last in the fridge?
wow. raw egg? how long does it last in the fridge?
The risk of getting salmonella from eggs is ridiculously low today. Mainly because store bought eggs are washed. If you crack your eggs in a bowl without the shell touching and you wash your hands right after you’ll be fine 😊. If you are concerned about getting salmonella then you can easily pasteurize them yourself on the stove.
Can you make this without eggs? I am allergic. Or could you do egg whites?
How long does it last?
Much BETTER!!!
What are the salmonella risks here? I hope unlikely so I can do this with confidence.
most to all eggs are safe to eat as long as there pasteurized and store bought mayo is made with raw pasteurized eggs, hope this helps
@@cat_man3115 wow thank you. i never knew that.

Why oh why do these informative vids always cut off at end?
Oh golly help😊😅🎉
Besides f me avacodo oil is just non the same taste we have all grown accustomed to
I bought it n thought it was rancid but friend said it was fine
Didn't like it at all. Hmm
Nope. It needs to be Dijon mustard, and it would be best from a glass jar and. it a plastic bottle so you can avoid all of the chemicals leached into the mustard, as it’s an acidic food. Kidding, but that’s what you sound like with each and every one of these videos.
