20分あたりでこれは何だろうと話していましたが、私の推測ですが多分稲わらで編んでわらむしろ(下に敷いてあるもの)を
編んで作る道具だと思います。

実は正解を島の方に伺いました。
みかんを収穫するカゴ(中島ではテボと呼んでいます)をわらで編む道具だそうです。
おそらくムシロも編んでいたと思われます!

調べてみるとJUKIは戦後、ミシンの開発に力を入れて、ブラザー、ジャノメに並ぶ3大ミシンメーカーになったそうです!知らなかったです。
現在は、工業用ミシン世界シェアNo. 1だそうです!
