I am an Arsenal fan, but I must say that they are the best Liverpool team to have never won the title. Some of today's Liverpool players are not fit to wear the shirt, just like some of our present players. England had Shearer and it was thought Sheringham was a much better partner. Unfortunately fowler went off the boil after 97 and when he was getting his caps he wasn't the same player. Both he and macca failed to deliver internationally compared with premier league. Shearer never had that issue :)
It's an shame through Injuries&some personal issues off the Field,which these inhibited,what should have been his Natural progression to be England's Top Goal scorer..And that's what Robbie could have become..I know he still had a tremendous career-but before he realised,Michael Owen had over taken him..But he has done badly off the Field,so life goes on..Not bad for a Lad From Toxteth..I hope he still has some relationship with the area..Organizing Youth activities or something?
