I was there that night supporting QLD. At 78 minutes we were copping heaps. At 80 minutes, the world was ours. That last minute, the atmosphere was unbelievable.
Brilliant game great players how good was daley,fittler,Alfie,great game Lockyer on debut,if joey kicks his goals nsw win,but the maroons never give up,this era was great for footy 👍👍👍
Agreed. If Johns kick one more goal then NSW would have won 🥇. Game 2 NSW dominated then game 3 Qld dominated. 1998 great series

I don't understand having Ken McGuinness on the bench. He must have felt rotten sitting through all that and not being able to be apart of it, especially after a loss like that.Why have him there if you're not gonna play him.
Me personally I think the joey John's is the greatest ever player to of played the game and he played well this game but his goal kicking lost new south Wales the game.

Lol, Johns is hardly the greatest ever player.. This game proved that much. Its during these big games you expect the big names to pull through, his performance in this game alone proves that much.. Locky on the other hand, what a debut.. GOAT 100%
