[Lohnunternehmen ENGL] NEW CLAAS LEXION 740 MY2020

🇩🇪 Ich besuchte dieses Jahr wieder das Lohnunternehmen ENGL, dieses Mal auch wieder in der Gersten Ernte. Bereits seit Anfang Juli sind die Landwirte in der Gersten Ernte, auch wenn Schauer wieder einmal die Ernte unterbrechen. Doch dieses Jahr gibt es etwas besonderes im Lohnunternehmen ENGL - es wurde in einen neuen Claas Lexion 740 investiert. Der Claas Lexion 740 ist der kleinste Lexion in der 700er Lexion-Baureihe und leistet aus einem 6 Zylinder, 10,7l Hubraum-Mercedesmotor eine Leistung von 408 PS. Die Lexion 700er Baureihe war bis 2019 die große Baureihe bei Claas im Bereich Mähdrescher. Doch nun sind die Baureihen 5000-8000 auf dem Markt, welche die 600er und 700er Lexion Baureihe in den Schatten wirft. Die Trockensubstanz (Kurz gesagt TS-Gehalt) der Gerste betrug 12% und war somit schon gut trocken für die regenreiche Zeit in diesem Sommer. Vor dem Claas Lexion 740 wurde ein 6,80m breites Claas Schneidwerk vorgespannt. Der Landwirt fuhr die Gerste mit dem betriebseigenen Traktor (Case IH Puma 165) die Gerste mit einem Fristein Muldenkipper ab.

🇬🇧 This year I visited the contractor ENGL again, this time again in the barley harvest. Farmers have been harvesting barley since the beginning of July, even if showers interrupt the harvest once again. But this year there is something special in the contractor ENGL - it has been invested in a new Claas Lexion 740. The Claas Lexion 740 is the smallest Lexion in the 700 Lexion series and produces an output of 408 hp from a 6-cylinder, 10.7l displacement Mercedes engine. Until 2019, the Lexion 700 series was the large series at Claas in the field of combine harvesters. But now the 5000-8000 series are on the market, which casts the 600 and 700 Lexion series in the shade. The dry matter (short TS content) of the barley was 12% and was therefore already well dry for the rainy season this summer. Before the Claas Lexion 740, a 6.80m wide Claas cutting unit was pre-tensioned. The farmer drove the barley with the farm's own tractor (Case IH Puma 165) the barley with a Fristein trailer.
