I don't want more money, I want less corporate greed. I want the value of the workers' labour to be compensated fairly.
Families who are inordinately wealthy tend to be so by wringing peoples' time/power/value and giving themselves large bonuses for doing so. This leaves the people doing the *actual* work at the whim of unbridled inflation.
Seems like you're the kind of person whose response would be something along the lines of: "Oh well that's just the way it is, you've just got to work harder to be the top dog", but there are so many other ways to structure society that doesn't depend on exploitation & greed being the rewarded values. Perhaps that suits you, and those are the values you hold dear; but I believe that humanity is capable of so much more.

In 2022 UK, £249 billion was raised from income tax, £178 billion from NICs and £160 billion from VAT. Corporation tax was the fourth largest tax, raising £83 billion.
Business owners need to give the government 25% of their hard earned business profit !!
High earners pay 50% of their wage in income tax to fund the government.
The more corporate greed..... the more money the gov gets.
How that cash is spent is the real problem, wars, dodgy medicine.
£240 billion per year spent on social/housing benefits to help people survive.
Things are tough out there due to inflation, product shortages resulting from the global supply-chain problems, largely caused by the recent "world-lockdowns".
Since inflation is caused by demand outstripping supply, lowering demand could be on the tables. I wonder how they might do that?
I'm no economist, but my experience with rich people is they will happily help a person start a business "with a solid business plan" with not too much reward for themselves.
Anyway, all that aside - the music is brilliant, the vocals are amazing, and the lead singer is very attractive. Maybe the next song will be about peace and love, I live in hope…x
