    Have been using the MH500 for nearly 6 months regular use and find then pretty good. I walk on a lot of mixed terrain and they have not let me down yet. Stay safe and well.

    I bought the a single cheaper 100 (comfort model) to use as bicycle stand for my bike tour, as my bike doesn't have a kickstand and as a tarp support.
    .great for campsite use. Use for some short simple hikes nothing extreme. no frills. Great that you can buy only one pole. One of the best €10 spent

    Hi! Nice review. What can you tell about the durability and stiffness of the MH500 a year after this video? My concern is that, due to its locking system, the joint between the lower and the middle section of the pole could turn flimsy, as it did in the MT100 after long use. Thanks in advance!

    • @WalkingNatureWorld
      @WalkingNatureWorld  Рік тому +1

      Hi, thank you for the comment. We didn't notice much difference in stiffness after a year of use but it depends on how often you use it. We do most of hiking in summer season and just several day hikes during winter. So we think it can withstand several years like that. We had a similar issue with MT100 but it did feel like more budget pole and less rigid initially. And we still got couple of years of use from it.

    Hi guys! Tell us, how do you like the 500 series sticks? Are they much better than the 100 series? Impressions after a while? Now we have a price for sticks of the 100 series of 14-15 dollars. And the 500 series is $40. Do you think they are worth the money? Or do you now think it's better to look at other options?

    • @WalkingNatureWorld
      @WalkingNatureWorld  Рік тому

      Hello, the MT100 sticks served us well for over two years in terms of durability. And the MH500 worked well too for many kilometers and would have served us even more time if we didn't lose them. The MH 500 is just a different model and more comfortable, has a better grip and more convenient adjustment system. But if you talk about durability, they are both great options.
