I remember your lethal kitten days XD thanks for your honest review on this palette. I love the tones so I got one but have yet to try it out. Would love to see more looks using different methods or primers 🥰🥰
I love the indigo row, it’s what pushed me to buy this palette. I will say I used the same purple/indigos and the reds you used but I didn’t have the issues you had. I think it comes down to different styles, primers, brushes, etc... I do agree I wish she put more lighter shimmers in her palettes. These, as well as the ones in Surge, are a lot darker than I typically like to use. I get why there is the large white and black pans there, for deepening, blending and mixing but, for me, whites and blacks don’t get a lot of use but maybe this will encourage me to branch out. Definitely love all 3 of the palettes I’ve gotten from Blend Bunny

Lol, I actually remember when you changed your name from "Lethal Kitten" to your actual name, and I was shocked lol I feel like when we all "grow up".... We change our names from what we thought was "cool & fun" to our actual name.... But yes I have been watching you since your Lethal Kitten days! I've loved your videos & content for so so long! 💯💯💯💜💜💜
Eh I guess I didn't do it for the growing up reasons but I just felt weird with it since it didn't really fit the makeup vibe (plus being called Kitten started to weird me out LOL). Maybe I'll revamp it and do a separate thing besides makeup with it one day :)

Primal is the theme and color story, but split the black and white in half and give us two lighter shimmers...
I think its for artistry reasons she did it and that people were saying they hit pan on those shades the fastest!

That indigo row is so pretty and unusual, it really drew me in. I think it performed pretty well for that kind of shade but it was a shock to see deeper pink having same problems *and* taking so much building. I usually get outer corner balding problems from same palettes as you so this makes me wary.
I would love to see some looks using the yellows - it would be interesting to see what kind of tones it makes with greens and what tones it makes when blended out with different pastels.
I was surprised with the indigos! I really didn't know what to expect with them since they can be REALLY hit or miss! I was actually surpried with the Lethal shade, I didnt think it was going to act that way. I defs want to try the yellow and greens! They're so pretty!
I love how informative and honest your reviews are! IMO I think Sugarpill single shadow in white and as you mentioned ABH Norvina white shadow are the best white shadows I've used. Thanks for your content!
agreed! the abh riviera had a really nice matte white in it too but I believe its discontinued (its the same white as in the norvina palettes imo!)

Yea my indigo row gave me a hard time. It just didn’t look as smooth. Idk how to explain it. To compare it by formula I used the blue from the Nikki Tutorials palette by Beauty Bay and there was SUCH a huge difference I saw it the most on my outer corner and lower lashline. It applies so much more evenly. It doesn’t cling even to my tackiest primer. Once I blend it out. I know this specific tone of blue is really hard to formulate but idk. I guess the Beauty Bay one is a good dupe for the shade and the pan is big. I’m just sad because I love my other shades and my other palettes and it was the row I was the MOSTTTTT excited about. I feel like the color is flattering on me. I’m sad.
Yeah those kinds of shades are tricky unfortunately :( They're brush and primer dependent in a way too which can make it difficult to use.

I have been wanting to try blend bunny which palette would you reccomend for a first palette obviously I need the brushes lol love you girl this look is stunning
Depends what you have already in your collection! If you dont have a good rainbow palette but have a lot of shimmers, I'd go with Blends since its a great one and done standard rainbow palette that has everything you need! If you have a good amount of palettes already, I'd go with Surge! Its cool and edgy, has a lot of unique shades, and it has pressed neons that glow under blacklight (usually neons are loose!).

The only issue I have had with this palette so far that I never had with the other 3 is that the 3x I have worn this with different colors my eyes have watered so bad like all the shadow is gone from my outer corners. I thought maybe it's my eyes so I wore some shades from blends palette yesterday and then from another palette had no issues today I am trying this one again this time with the greens so far my eyes are doing OK I have had my eyeshadow on for 3 hours so far my right eye is feeling like it may water. I don't know if Maggie switched up the formula or what for this one I never have had this issue with her brand. It's happened with the blue purple, purples, oranges, pinks, and reds I have used multiple shades from this palette with the same ending watery eyes it sux
I’m not sure if they’re different formulas! Whenever I’ve experienced something like that, it’s usually because I’m allergic to something in the formula. Have you changed what you wash your brushes with as well?
@@BreyonnaFaye yes and the green making the right eye water I haven't had any issues with my other blend bunny palettes I use them like daily
her palettes are all so dang big and that just doesn’t work for me lol but i asked if she’s ever planning to do smaller ones and she said yes! so i look forward to seeing what else she’ll put out.
oooo wait I'd be so down for smaller ones. Like a 8 pan or so would be perfect! Like these ones to me are a decent size and I like they aren't thick and they're all the same in dimension which makes them easier to store!

omg you're gunna love blends!! The pastels in it are AMAZING
Both sides are gorgeous and compliment each other to make such a cohesive look. I can't pick a side 😆 I agree with you that I love all of the other 3 palettes, but this one is a pass for me. The colors in this palette may close the gaps in the other palettes, but I don't use colors enough to need this one. And don't feel guilty ❤ you made it work and gave your honest review which is why I continue to watch your channel.

Definitely would LOVE to see another video with this palette, I haven't tried Blend Bunny palettes yet, and this one caught eye most out of the other rainbow palettes. I definitely need my palettes to have shimmers, but if her 1st palette is there best, I can always use a SSS to pair with the mattes from the Blends palette. But before I decide on which palette I want to get 1st, I would love to see another video with this palette, cause I don't do the dark to light method, I do my shadows the way you do, so I definitely need to see more from this palette before I make my final decision, and I trust you most out of anyone when it comes to reviews! You always are honest, without being mean, and you also give any palette, no matter the brand, a super good testing & fair shot at working the best it can! 💜💜💜💯💯💯
I say go with the original blends palette I own all 4 and the original is my absolute fav I always use it with my multichromes and single shimmers. I am not a huge fan of her shimmer formula I mean it's nice but honestly I rarely use shimmers from palettes unless they are super intense multichromes like electrum Cosmetics newest palette it has Amazing shimmers in it.
With her palettes I love the Blends and Surge palettes. Dollhouse is cute but the super deep shades aren't the easiest to work with (shimmers are nice though!). I always say to look at your collection and see what you already have and what your missing. If you are looking for a good rainbow palette with everything you need, a one-and-done, I'd say go with Blends. It has everything you need with mattes and the pastels are BEAUTIFUL! However, if you're like me and have a decent amount of palettes I would recommend the Surge palette! Its so unique and different and really added a lot to my collection. Only downfall is the shimmers aren't a crazy wow! But the pressed neons and the smokey colors are something I didn't have in my palettes so it really spiced up my collection :)

I would love to see more looks. I love the looks you did. I'm not getting this palette because i like lighter shimmers or more options, I have the dollhouse palette and i love that one and I plan on picking up at least one of the other palettes
You'd probably like the other two, they have a lot of contrast with the shades!

Man this is difficult! I have Primal and have been struggling with some of the patchy spots with like you described. I just assumed it was my inexperience because it's my first time using eyeshadow! I got dollhouse at the same time and mostly have been using everything but the dark row.
I'd like to get another of their palettes but I'm having a hard time choosing between Surge and Blends. I LOVE bright colors and feel like I'm struggling to get that with Primal. I am using the Sigma eyeshadow base in Bubbly.
Any thoughts on which I might like better? I have small hooded eyes which are eternally in shadow lol!
Best advice I can give is to look at your collection! Blends is great as an almost one and done bright palette, it truly has everything you need from pastels to bright! However, it’s all matte and there isn’t any truly unique shades in it (color wise)! If you’re someone like me who has a lot of rainbow palettes already, I find Surge added something unique and different to my collection. The pressed neons are something I didn’t have before in any of my palettes. The top right corner (blues/greens) and the lighter pastel purple are very unique shades for my collection too! But I’ll warn you, the shimmers aren’t a wow 💜 hope this helps

I like the looks you did! I appreciate your honestly even tho you love the brand. I still want to try the surge or dollhouse but this one doesnt really interest me very much. I don't use dark shimmers very much or matte white so those would just be a waste for me.
Surge is amazing, I cant recommend it enough! Blends is great too but Surge is more unique imo! Im like that too, I dont use deep shimmers much, just more as a one off. But if I use one I always go in with a lighter shimmer next to it to break up the smokey-ness!
I had so much trouble trying to get the gold color to pick up with my brush. Have you tried the gold with a brush? Maybe it’s my palette idk but I was hoping it would be formulated like the dollhouse palette.
Just tried after reading this and I’m not having a problem! It’s not picking up a crazy amount but I was able to! I have swatched my gold a few times before doing this so many try doing that and see if it helps? Sometimes after the first layer is taken off they work better (from my experience with other brands!)

@@BreyonnaFaye it swatches amazing it just won’t pick up on a brush. I tried four of them and rubbed with my finger first and even pressed super hard and hit pan and still wouldn’t work for me. The purple color was a lot better picked up better. Maybe it’s the palette I got I’m not sure. I wish my fingers were more precise for a cut crease. I prefer a brush for that part.
@@denniellehannah7915 See for me its opposite! The lighter purple one is more sheer and harder in the pan. In those cases what I usually do when I experience it myself is I apply it with my finger as much as I can and then take some on a brush and try to get it more precise on the edge (like with a cut crease I use a brush to get it closer to the line!) I hope how I typed that it makes sense! Even though the brush doesn't apply it the best it helps to get it more precise. I know some people like to use those sponge applicators for shimmers too! If you feel you got a bad palette you could always contact her customer service!
