Axe might be the best player in the world, it's just that pikachu's tools are harder to do well with
SkaterLauro Axe has stated many times he plays pikachu because he’s his best character and even if he wanted to he couldn’t play another character at the same level.
Axe should just go Marth against Armada. It's a way better matchup against Armada's Peach specifically...
TaroX51 definitely not imo, he would probably get completely destroyed as marth while he is very close with Pikachu
Maybe, but the reason why I say that is because I really want Axe to succeed. As do a lot of other people besides me I'm sure. But every time Axe faces Armada, even when its close, its ALWAYS seems to be an uphill battle for Axe to the point to where he's gassed by the end of the set and Armada has barely broken a sweat.
Hell, I KNOW what he's feeling because I used to play melee years ago with Pikachu and fighting Peach SUCKS... A LOT...
But then again maybe your right... maybe Axe just needs stick it out with Pikachu... Nobody can decide for him but himself... only time will tell...
No i think if Axe starts practicing the marth peach matchup he'll get there. Hes really just getting better charactered in those moments where a tipper would get an quicker kill. And his neutral is way too good to be playing sets that long
@welovecurling he has in doubles in Eclipse 2018. Never in singles.
