There’s some really great cycle/shared paths around Perth and some absolutely terrible ones. We’re getting there as a city moving a little away from the car centric thing👍
Simple video but helps a lot! Recently moved to a suburb not too far from the city so this video relieves some of my stress seeing how you easily ride through different paths :O
I've had to do commutes and it is slow with maybe a break in the shade and attention to post ride nutrition and hydration, but I ride alot. Your body adapts. Water, electrolytes, long sleeve top and sunscreen recommended. Mostly though on hot days rides are early morning and evenings. It's the UV rays in Perth in the middle of the day that is concerning.

Hope the momentum continues - so much potential 🙂
I'm enjoying the home town content, keep drinking that coffee 😁👍
Awesome video. Inspiring me to take the bike out more! I love riding along the river through Maylands, such a nice setting through there.

Thank you, yeah there are some hectic areas but for the most part it's great cycling around the city! Hope you enjoy your rides 👌

It's getting there! Just have know where to find the cycle friendly paths sometimes.
Do you ride in like 40° weather if so how?? Because I’m a young cyclist but I just can’t do even short distance in heat

That looks horrible.
Why not make it cycling or ped dedicated. And screw the cars. Get them off the roads. Too big.
It's either ride or not. Cars can go in some areas.
