Hi there! Did you guys get assigned randomly or did you know eachother prior? I’m joining the honors college and am worried about who I’ll get roomed with lol. Also, do you know if it is possible to add a curtain under the lofted bed for added privacy? Thanks!
Hi! Honors roommates work the same as everywhere else. You can pick someone from the social media groups or anyone you know, or choose to be randomly paired. You probably can put up a curtain of your own but it's not an option through Bedloft.
I apologize. I'm not entirely sure. My roommate bought that. I know the space between beds was approximately 5 feet and the beds were about 7.5 feet long so maybe you can estimate the rug size based on that.
Technically it is possible to get a single room as a freshman but it is highly unlikely unless you have a disability that requires a single room that you have registered with the Disability Resource Center (DRC). All incoming students rate their room preferences and the system matches rooms to students.

You're very welcome! Sorry it took me so long to respond...I didn't get a notification. No, the top shelf of the desk is removeable. I know some dorms don't provide that top shelf piece, but the ones that do have the shelf on them have a light on the underside of the shelf so they aren't removeable.

where is th4 pool noodle😢😮
We used pool noodles on the undersides of our lofted beds to avoid hitting our heads on the metal rails.
What are the dimensions of your rug and futons?
The futon was about 5 ft wide and when it's set up like a couch, its about 2.5 ft deep. If it's pulled out like a bed, it's about six ft long.
Would you recommend a mattress topper?
YES! Absolutely get a mattress topper! It makes the bed so comfortable and you'll be so glad you have it.

@@ophaline8177 It was just over six feet tall if I remember correctly. I bought two IKEA shelves that could link together to get it that tall.
