I've always taken my combined pill back to back with a break only when I feel my body needs a bleed, which is about every 6 months ish! I recently brought it up to my doctor, and she actually now advises against taking a break as it eliminates any period-related symptoms (heavy flow, pain, nausea) and can help conditions like endometriosis. It also improves mood swings as you're not adding & removing hormones each month. I've been doing research into it recently & supposedly the break was only introduced to emulate the structure of a normal period, therefore woman would be more likely to take the pill! It's super interesting but probably much more complex than how I've explained tehe

As a consequence to there being no cure for endometriosis, hormone treatments are used to control symptoms, essential doing the same thing as the contraceptive pill by preventing ovulation and menstruation. For right now it's a quick fix & helps a lot. However, I do agree that if somebody is struggling with hormonal imbalances, it's important to solve that as its own issue!

Second this! They only really ‘mimic’ a period they’re not real ones, I’ve been told you can safely back to back pills. It actually works so much better for me hormonally
Flo has been amazing helping me track mine! However every now and then my cycle is 50-60 days lol, which definitely confuses it from time to time (resulted in it telling me I was 20 days late this month). Also, on delaying your period - you can get norethisterone tablets (not sure if the spelling is correct). You take them 3x a day around the days before your period is due, then when you stop taking them it’ll start within 2-3 days. It’s helped me when I’ve had to travel etc!
Sophia - get antiseptic throat sprays to relieve the discomfort (numbs)!! Also drink some turmeric boiled in a cup of oat milk (sounds bad but add some sugar and it’s not too bad) - it helps with the inflammation :)

I would recommend Freddie’s flowers! You get a regular delivery of flowers that match the season.
Putting fresh ice cubes in the flower water every day should keep them fresher longer if you can be bothered!!!
Also sparkling water! Plants breathe in carbon dioxide!!
And trimming the stems every few days and adding a spoonful of sugar. They don’t need expensive plant food
