I was always wondering about the Falck's serve. He's always touching the table with his left hand leaving a smudge of sweat and it may have impact on the bounce in case the ball lands on that.

Игра равная. Димасик какой-то не стабильный. То мячик до сетки не докидывает, то Фалк подставить не может. Я представляю Фалк ожидал, что Димасик не попадёт, а он попал подряд. 😁

What does the commentator mean that Falck has inverted rubber? I thought inverted rubber was the common/most normal rubber used?
it simply is. I am not really sure sometimes what they are talking about to be honest, I focus only on the match and ignore them :D It feels more like that they want to "show off" a bit to non tt players, that they know random facts. but just my 2 cents there
Falck has inverted (normal) rubber on one side but he has short pips on the other one.

Falck played incredible this game but Dima's playstyle almost counters him in a way. The best strategy again short pips is to add your own power and to spin it low and spinny to the back line, which is Dimas bread and butter. A bad matchup for Falck and he almost managed to comeback for the win at the end! So sad that he lost the last two but Dima remembered his tactics and just hit it low and spinny and Falck just coulnd't do much but go for the high risk slaps.
